Aaron Carter‘s son, Princeton Lyric Carter, is pressing forward to secure justice for his late father!
The young champ and some of the personalities named in a lawsuit he filed about three years ago have reportedly made headway as the case continues in court.
Aaron Carter passed away in November 2022, with his body being discovered in the bathtub by his housekeeper. His cause of death was declared to be drowning after allegedly inhaling compressed difluoroethane and alprazolam.
Inside Aaron Carter’s Son’s Latest Victory

In new legal documents, a psychiatrist and a mental health clinic named in the lawsuit have reached a confidential financial agreement with Princeton back in April.
The lawsuit filed in 2023 alleged that doctors prescribed Hydrocodone, Oxycodone, and Alprazolam carelessly despite being fully aware of Aaron’s “mental health and psychiatric condition.”
The lawsuit stressed that the drugs and quantities, along with Aaron’s psychiatric issues, should have informed them that much care needed to be taken about his case.
As stated by TMZ, Princeton, in his filing, emphasized that doctors, dentists, mental health clinics, and pharmacies that prescribed him various medications all played a primary role in his passing.
The Rapper’s Loved Ones Insist His Cause Of Death Made No Sense

Shortly after his death, Aaron’s mother, Jane Carter, broke her silence and expressed his doubts over the fact that her son died due to drowning. The Blast noted that, according to Jane, foul play was the culprit behind Aaron’s death and not a drug overdose.
Aaron’s mother was not the only doubting Thomas in that situation; the singer’s girlfriend, Melanie Martin, also stressed that the medical examiner’s final report did not offer her any closure or solace.
She made mention of the fact that he was wearing a t-shirt and necklace in the bathtub he drowned in, which does not add up because no one should get in a bathtub with their clothes on. Melanie noted that the report left her and the rapper’s family with more questions.
Jane and Melanie also revealed that the LA County Coroner’s Office had informed them that no water was found in Aaron’s lungs, further bringing more confusion to the drowning theory.
Aaron Carter’s Partner, Melanie Martin, Pushed For An Inquiry

The rapper’s mother and partner also intensified pressure for an inquiry into a suspected drug deal on the night of his death, which might have contributed to his overdose.
Melanie affirmed that she stumbled upon text messages on Aaron’s phone from an individual who asked him to pay $800 for an undisclosed substance.
The musician, who previously went to rehab for drug-related issues, assured the individual behind the contact that he no longer required the substance, but the vendor claimed he owed money.
The conversation reportedly ended after the singer asked whether the person on the other end of the phone was threatening him.
Melanie confirmed that she has since turned over the conversation to the Los Angeles Police Department as part of the case’s evidence.
The Late Star’s Dentist Claimed He Was Aware Of The Risk Attached To His Medication

The Blast noted that Aaron’s dentist, Jason Mirabile, came out to debunk all the allegations that he actively contributed to the rapper’s death from a drug overdose. He noted that Aaron, who was a client at the time, was fully aware of the risk that was attached to the medical treatment he was receiving at the time due to his existing condition.
Mirabile revealed that Aaron was already at risk of a potential complication or injury at the point of submitting himself for any medical treatment. He added that forces outside his control caused any injuries the rapper suffered in the course of being treated by medical personnel.
The dentist clarified that there was no provision in the agreement requiring him to inform Aaron’s family of the pros and cons of any procedure or treatment performed on the rapper. In the lawsuit, Princeton claimed that Mirabile continued to prescribe controlled substances to his father and was negligent in the administration/follow-up of these substances.
Aaron Carter’s Partner Confirmed The Paternity Of Their Son

In 2024, Melanie addressed the long-running rumors surrounding who the true father of her son is, revealing that she endured years of unfounded allegations and pain since losing the rapper in 2022.
She stated that Princeton has not been spared from the repeated harassment alongside death threats, which have compelled her to come forward and address the situation once and for all.
Melanie added that her son would grow older and become aware of these narratives, making it important to put them to rest once and for all.
Melanie emphasized that a DNA test involving herself, Princeton, and Aaron’s twin, Angel Carter, confirmed conclusively that he was Aaron’s biological son. Aaron had died just a few weeks shy of his son’s first birthday at the age of 34.
