The longtime party drink brand has teamed up with “Love Island USA” for Season 8, becoming the show’s official malt beverage partner while launching a brand-new fan-driven campaign called The Fan Edit. The campaign puts viewers directly in control by allowing fans to vote on which new Smirnoff Ice flavors will make it into the brand’s next variety pack.

As “Love Island USA” prepares to return to Peacock on June 2, Smirnoff Ice is leaning heavily into the franchise’s interactive fan culture. Inspired by the show’s voting twists, fan debates, and social media reactions, The Fan Edit gives viewers the chance to help shape the future of the beverage lineup.
Among the flavor contenders are Americana-inspired drinks with tropical twists, including Watermelon Limeade and Strawberry Swirl. In total, eight flavors are competing, though only four will ultimately make the final cut.
“Love Island USA fans know the power of a vote; it can shake things up and send someone packing,” Fergus McCarthy, Director of Smirnoff Ice, said in a statement. “The Fan Edit brings that same energy to the cooler, giving fans the chance to decide which new flavor bombshells make it into our new variety pack.”
Fans Can Vote And Possibly Win A NYC Trip

From May 22 through July 22, fans 21 and older can vote for their favorite flavors through the campaign website. Participants will also have the opportunity to enter The Fan Edit Sweepstakes for a chance to win a trip for two to New York City and attend a taping of “Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen.” More than 100 fans will additionally win limited-edition “Love Island USA” and Smirnoff Ice merchandise prize packs.
Fan-Favorite Islanders Are Joining The Campaign

The summer partnership will also feature returning “Love Island USA” personalities Jeremiah Brown, Iris Kendall, and Nic Vansteenberghe. The campaign will spotlight two seasonal variety packs: the new Smirnoff Ice Icy Island pack and the returning Smirnoff Ice Sunny Days pack, which includes flavors like Orange Cream Pop.
The new Smirnoff Ice Icy Island Variety Pack is bringing major tropical vacation vibes with four bold, fruity flavors designed for summer sipping. Paradise Punch blends cherry and creamy orange with a splash of zesty lime, while Tropical Tiki delivers a sweet mix of pineapple, mango, and citrus notes. Strawberry Sunset leans into juicy strawberry flavor with a smooth, sun-kissed finish, and Watermelon Wave packs a refreshing burst of crisp watermelon paired with bright tropical flavors.

The new partnership announcement comes just one month after several “Love Island USA” fan favorites teamed up with Smirnoff Ice for a massive beachside campaign promoting the brand’s new Icy Island Variety Pack.
Reality stars Nic Vansteenberghe, Jeremiah Brown, and Iris Kendall previously brought their villa energy off-screen and directly to fans through a series of surprise pop-up events across the country. Instead of launching the campaign through a traditional ad rollout, the trio reportedly traveled to major beach destinations, including Fort Lauderdale, South Padre Island, and Panama City Beach.
Each stop featured beach parties, live DJ sets, interactive fan experiences, and surprise appearances designed to turn ordinary beach days into full-scale “Love Island”-inspired events. The activations leaned heavily into the franchise’s “island time” vibe, bringing that reality TV chaos to the summer party culture as fans gathered to meet the stars in person.
