In a recent interview with Vanity Fair, A’ja shared some insight into why they couple didn’t immediately jump into the spotlight with their relationship.

“We just wanted to make sure that we were secure in ourselves, our relationship, and our foundation,” she told the outlet. “People know more than they knew before, but it’s still a situation that we hold really close to us only because this world is nasty.”

The two started to spark speculation at the 2024 Paris Olympics when they were photographed together. By the time people started to notice they might be a couple, they were already together for at least a full year.

So what does the future hold for the basketball couple? A’ja said, “I would love to just dive into being a wife, being a mother.”

For now, they are happily sharing a house in one of Las Vegas’ most desirable areas, and enjoying the fun they have together.

“That is why I love our relationship—we never lose the fun,” A’ja said. “We’re just really two big kids.”

There Is Mutual Support As Players

Fans who are watching will notice A’ja at Miami Heat games supporting Bam and Bam at Las Vegas Aces games supporting A’ja. And that support can be seen on and off the court.

“I try to watch his games as a fan, but I always end up watching it as a player,” she told Vanity Fair. “I do have so much happiness when watching him succeed, because I see the hours that he puts in.”

While A’ja was disappointed to have missed Bam reaching his 10,000-point career milestone, she was courtside days later when he scored 83 points, surpassing Kobe Bryant’s 81.

A’ja Wilson Debuted Superhero Look During Aces Media Day

A’ja is known for switching up her look for media day, and this year was no different. This year’s look? She brought some superhero vibes with her to get the season started.

“There’s just something about just changing my hair a little bit for media day. I think it brings me a little bit of joy that the season’s beginning,” she told the media.

“This one, we kind of went with the Jean Grey type of vibe with X-Men. She is a superhero that is pretty, pretty powerful. And I kind of went with this just to kind of give you those vibes.”

The Nike A’Two Is Grabbing Tons Of Attention

Nike has officially stepped into A’ja Wilson era with the launch of her second signature shoe, the Nike A’Two. Building on the success of her debut model that comes in multiple different colorways, the A’Two is designed to reflect the WNBA superstar’s evolution on and off the court.

According to Nike.com, product line manager London Johnson gave some insight into the shoe.

“We wanted to develop a shoe for those consumers that are really trying to level up their game in the same way that A’ja has from college up until her game now in the W,” London said. “She brings the culture with her; she brings the energy with her. If there were anyone that didn’t need a hype man, it would be A’ja, because she just has so much of that energy — it’s infectious. It fills the entire room.”

Bam Adebayo Recently Teamed Up With TikToker Zachery Dereniowski

Zachery Dereniowski is known for his good deeds and helping others. He often shares videos on TikTok that require some tissues to watch because the tears can’t be stopped. In his most recent video, he got some help from Bam.

In the video, viewers see Zachery approach Bam and ask if he wants to help surprise somebody with a brand new car and rent for a year. Bam, of course, is in! The two walked over to the nearby bus stop and asked a woman if she had a car. When she said no, the two began chatting and walking her toward the surprise.

Fans took to the comment section to share positive thoughts about the interaction and the kindness that Zachery and Bam showed the mom.
