Bad Bunny on the red carpet

Bad Bunny arrived at the 2026 Met Gala with one of the boldest transformations of the night. The Puerto Rican superstar embraced the event’s “Costume Art” theme and its “Fashion Is Art” dress code, appearing as an aged version of himself to highlight the beauty of aging in a fashion world that often prioritizes youth. Fans reacted with a mix of shock, admiration, and praise for the creative risk.

Bad Bunny Nearly Unrecognizable At The Met Gala

Bad Bunny stepped onto the red carpet looking almost unrecognizable as an elderly man. Even in videos circulating online, some users repeatedly asked, “Who is this grandpa?”, while others wondered what had happened to him, amazed by the hyper-realistic transformation.

Prosthetic makeup artist Mike Marino led the transformation, which aimed to age the 32-year-old performer by about 50 years. The process involved six weeks of preparation, including 3D laser scans of Bad Bunny’s face and head, 360-degree photography, and hand-sculpted clay models.

The final prosthetic application reportedly took about three hours on the day of the event. To complete the illusion, Bad Bunny wore white-gray curls, a matching beard and mustache, bushy eyebrows, and carried a cane, moving around with a deliberate older gait.

Fans Still Thought He Looked Good

For the fashion portion of the look, the Grammy winner co-designed a custom all-black tuxedo with Zara that featured an oversized pussy bow at the neck, inspired by Charles James’s 1947 “Bustle” gown, which is part of the Metropolitan Museum of Art’s collection.

Even beneath the wrinkles and age makeup, Bad Bunny still commanded attention and admiration. “That’s ’Don Bunny’ to you,” an admirer joked on X. “I knew my king wouldn’t disappoint,” another added. A third fan gushed, “He is still so handsome.”

Stunning At The Grammy Awards

Earlier this year at the 68th Annual Grammy Awards, Bad Bunny drew attention for an entirely different fashion moment.

The “DTMF” singer dropped jaws in a custom black velvet Schiaparelli Haute Couture tuxedo, becoming the first male celebrity to wear one of the fashion house’s couture menswear looks on a major red carpet.

In one headshot shared by a fan account on Instagram, Bad Bunny looked devastatingly handsome in the ensemble. He turned heads with his sharp, chiseled features, intense dark eyes that stared directly at the camera, and a well-groomed beard plus mustache that accentuated his strong jawline and full lips.

The post drew over 800,000 likes, an impressive number for a fan page, with more than 7,000 comments from fans simply admiring.

A More Relaxed, Stylish Side

Another fan-favorite post with over 100,000 likes showed Bad Bunny in a pink sweater tucked into black tailored pants. He accessorized with black-rimmed glasses, a luxury gold watch with a matching link bracelet, a thin gold chain necklace, and one statement ring.

Unlike many of his intense shots, Bad Bunny wore a smile in this snap, flashing perfectly white teeth. “Too cute,” a fan gushed.

Bad Bunny Strips Down To Briefs

Bad Bunny’s Calvin Klein campaign features a set of photos that fans continue to revisit. In the steamy shots, the rapper stripped down to tight Calvin Klein briefs, flaunting his toned shirtless physique. He turned around in one scorching shot, giving fans a view of his rear.

Over a year since the photos hit the internet, fans are still gagged. Judging by how hot he looked in the photos, they’ll continue trending for a long time.
