“Hugh and Ivanka go way back,” an insider noted. “This isn’t some casual Hollywood friendship. They’ve stayed genuinely close for years, and that relationship has never really changed.”
On the other hand, Foster is said to hold more liberal political views and reportedly prefers to avoid associations with the Trump family and MAGA-related ideology.
“Sutton’s politics are very different,” a source told the outlet. “[Sutton is] vocal about where she stands, and the Ivanka-Jared circle is not a world she feels comfortable in — socially or politically.”

Explaining further about Sutton’s stance, the source pointed to how the Broadway star missed out on Rupert Murdoch’s birthday.

“That room was never going to be Sutton’s scene,” the insider shared about the actress’s stance when it comes to the Trumps.
“And seeing Hugh so comfortable in that crowd — especially with Ivanka there — definitely hit a nerve,” the insider added.

For Jackman, the situation seems to be a case of being caught between a rock and a hard place.
