The Kardashian-Jenner matriarch revealed that using medical intervention to shed some lbs was a no-brainer right from the onset. She also shared that she went through a trial-and-error phase with the popular GLP-1 medication before finding her perfect fix.
Kris Jenner’s looks have come under scrutiny over the years, especially after she went under the knife for a facelift. The “Keeping Up With The Kardashians” star had her name on th lips of many after she underwent a facelift in 2025.
Kris Jenner Has Been There, Done That Before Ozempic Became A Thing

Jenner has stamped her name in the entertainment industry, running one of the biggest reality TV shows with her family for years. Not only did she break ground in the world of reality TV, but she also tested the waters in the medical weight loss world before it became a household name.
The momager revealed that before the GLP-1 drug, originally used to improve blood sugar control, gained popularity as a weight loss remedy, she had a go at it. However, she had to discontinue using Ozempic because it negatively affected her health.
“I did not do, like, an Ozempic,” Jenner said. “I tried it. We tried it once when no one knew what it was, and it made me really sick.” While appearing on an episode of the “SHE MD” podcast on May 5, the momager detailed her experience with Ozempic to hosts OBGYN Dr. Thais Aliabadi and women’s advocate Mary Alice Haney. She noted that the drug left her “feeling weak, nauseous, and very sick.”
What Finally Worked For The Momager?

Jenner and Aliabadi “dialed around and looked at different options” after the weight-loss drug originally designed for adults with type 2 diabetes did not do the trick.
“I realized that a peptide injection was really great for me,” Jenner said. “And then I follow it up with supplements, and that was a game-changer.” The 70-year-old TV personality shared that Aliabadi advises her on which supplements to add to her diet, such as fish oils and omega-3s.
According to Jenner, the peptides gave her more energy than she previously had, noting that she had more hours at night even after working and having dinner. The supplements, on the other hand, also help to maintain that glow as they are good for skin, hair, and nails.
Injectable peptides have become popular in recent years. They can be used to induce weight loss and improve athletic performance, but still have notable side effects.
‘The Kardashians’ Star Had A ‘Refresh’ Facial Procedure

Beauty not only shines from within, and Jenner can attest to this fact. During the podcast, she recalled that another thing that has been helpful besides the medications was the cosmetic procedure she underwent last year. The 70-year-old previously revealed that going under the knife at that time for a facelift was to refresh the one she had fifteen years ago.
The mom of six shared her reason for having the procedure was that she wanted to be the best version of herself. She also stressed that getting older does not mean one should give up on themselves. Jenner noted that her version of aging gracefully includes enhancing her look through cosmetic procedures.
As reported by The Blast, the momager’s facelift was performed by renowned surgeon Dr. Steven Levine. While many have criticized the results of the pricey procedure, Jenner maintains that she is happy with how her facelift turned out.
The Business Mogul Shut Down Negative Rumors About Her Facelift

The mom of six had a chat last month with Khloé on her “Khloé In Wonderland” podcast, addressing the widespread rumors on social media about her cosmetic procedures. Internet users had claimed that the facelift dropped so fast, leaving Jenner unhappy and furious at her doctor.
“The headline right now is that I hate my facelift, and I’m really mad at I’m furious at my doctor, Steven Levine, which couldn’t be further from the truth. It’s a flat-out lie. I love my facelift. I adore my doctor. I’m obsessed with him,” she said. The reality TV star further praised Levine for his medical talent, stressing that he “put his heart and soul” into the work he did on her face.
The Blast reported that later in the conversation, the famed businesswoman told her daughter that her goal was to end up with a refreshed facelift as well as a beautiful jawline, and Levine checked those boxes with the procedure.
Kris Jenner Is Also The OG Of Reality TV

Khloé recently revealed how the Kardashian-Jenner clan started their roles i the entertainment industry, and all it took was a trick from their mom. The mom of two gave fans a glimpse into their life in the early 2000s before they started “Keeping Up With The Kardashians.” She recalled that she and her sisters opened a clothing retail store, Dash, in their Los Angeles suburb of Calabasas.
They used funds from a credit card their late father, Robert Kardashian, opened for them years before his demise to start up the family venture. Dash ran with no employees for a while since they were on a tight budget. When Jenner presented the idea of being on television to her daughters, they felt hesitant until she told them the show would cast a focus on their clothing store.
“And how my mom conned us into doing it was, she said, ‘Think of it as a commercial for the store,’ because all we wanted to do [was the store]” Khloé recalled. The Blast shared that as their family reality TV show became more popular, Dash grew and expanded its locations to New York City and Miami Beach until it finally closed down in 2018.
