Erika Kirk has made it clear that she has no intention of leaving her position as Turning Point USA CEO.
The mother of two assumed the role after the assassination of her husband, right-wing influencer Charlie Kirk, last year.
Since stepping into the position, Erika Kirk has faced criticism from several individuals, and she recently called them out in a lengthy video following a shooting at the White House Correspondents’ Dinner.
Erika Kirk Has No Plans To Step Down From TPUSA Role

Earlier in the week, rumors began to swirl that Erika Kirk was stepping down from her role as TPUSA CEO, barely a year after she assumed the position following the death of her husband, Charlie Kirk.
The rumors originated from YouTuber Chase Geiser, but before they could spread further, Erika quickly shut them down with a rebuttal, quoting the tweet Geiser had made.
“First I’m hearing of it,” Erika wrote sarcastically, a remark that has since garnered thousands of likes.
The rumors were further refuted by another top figure in the nonprofit, TPUSA spokesman Andrew Kolvet. He wrote, “Fake News,” a statement that only further suggested that no such discussions about Erika leaving had taken place.
Following the clarification, Geiser did not issue any response nor reveal his source. However, he later re-tweeted a post claiming that anyone should be allowed to criticize Erika.
The Widow Received Support After Slamming The Rumors: ‘Never Step Down’

Following Erika’s response, netizens trooped to the comment section to support her in maintaining her role as TPUSA CEO.
“Never step down, Erika. The vultures are circling, trying to take over what your husband built for you & his children,” one wrote.
“We’re very proud of you for honoring your husband’s wishes and legacy. Keep building, while others destroy. You’ll always win because you’re actually shaping the culture and the people who actually want to work hard to change our country,” another commented.
Some netizens also took a swipe at Geiser for spreading fake news.
“Imagine a GROWN MAN, fused to his phone, obsessing over Charlie Kirk’s widow, while gleefully worshipping at the altar of Cancer Owens? That’s Chase, in a nutshell. Pathetic,” a netizen wrote.
“Chase is a disgusting clown who thinks it’s funny to mock a widow,” one more remarked.
Erika Kirk Previously Said She Was Spending Some Time With Her Family

Weeks before, Erika said she would be spending some time with her family after being one of the many attendees at the White House Correspondents’ Dinner caught in a shooting incident at the location.
A shooter named Cole Tomas Allen had reportedly tried to gain access to the building and engaged in a shootout with Secret Service agents.
Subsequently, Erika was escorted from the location, looking emotionally distraught, and was reportedly repeating the words, “I just want to go home.”
In a later tweet, she described the incident as “another traumatic example of the evil in our country” before noting that she was “taking time to spend with my family.”
At the time, she promised she would return to address the incident, adding that “enough is enough.”
What Erika Kirk Said About The White House Shooting Incident

On April 29, Erika finally issued the long-awaited address, which covered a number of points she had in mind.
In the eight-minute-long video, she called out what she described as the systemic indoctrination and radicalization of American citizens, which she believes is being carried out by people who have “perverted the truth.”
The TPUSA CEO also noted a “serious epidemic of dehumanization” affecting the country and called on Americans to come together, warning that failure to do so could put the country’s future at risk.
Erika Kirk Slammed Her Late-Husband’s Pal, Candace Owens

The former beauty queen also took Candace Owens, a prominent podcaster and former associate of her late husband, as well as her other critics, for accusing her of murdering her husband.
Amid the reaction to the address, Erika made subsequent posts, including one where she revealed why she chose to attend the event. “Many journalists have done everything they can to dehumanize” her for months, and she “wanted to look them in the eye,” the mother of two said.
In another post, she called out what she described as the “ultimate hypocrisy” of left-wing journalists who have called US President Donald Trump disparaging names for years, yet still choose to attend the dinner.
