Meghan Markle added a lighthearted stop to her Australia visit when she met up with viral YouTube cooking duo Sean and Marley. The connection came after the Duchess spotted an episode in which the pair recreated dishes from her “With Love, Meghan” show, prompting her to reach out directly.

When they finally came face-to-face, the trio kept things relaxed, trading playful banter while bonding over food and creativity. The meeting also included a small exchange of gifts and even a casual beer, giving the interaction a down-to-earth feel that quickly resonated with fans online.

Before meeting Markle, Sean and Marley had already struck up an unexpected connection with the Duchess through their shared love of cooking.

The viral duo had previously recreated one of Markle’s dishes, a single-skillet spaghetti recipe, after watching her Netflix series. The moment didn’t go unnoticed.

According to Sean and Marley, Meghan came across their video and personally reached out, sending a handwritten note along with a gift basket filled with her favorite As Ever products.

“In April 2025, we made a video re-creating one of Meghan’s recipes from her cooking show on Netflix. She saw our video and sent us some beautiful gifts with a handwritten note, saying how much she loved our video,” they shared on the May 4 episode of “Get Down with Sean and Marley.”

When Markle finally met Sean and Marley, the excitement appeared pretty mutual.

After some lighthearted banter, the duo surprised Meghan with a collection of gifts, leaving the Duchess visibly touched by the gesture.

“There are a lot of gifts in there. This is so kind,” she said, reacting to the generous spread prepared by the pair, who both have Down syndrome.

Among the items were toys from the hit Australian cartoon Bluey, which immediately caught Meghan’s attention due to her children’s love for the show.

“Our kids love Bluey!” she exclaimed when asked about the stuffed animals.

The Duo Gifted Meghan More Surprises

Sean and Marley didn’t stop at just one present, as Markle was treated to a full bundle of thoughtful, and very Australian, gifts.

Among them were Minties, which Markle revealed are a favorite for both her and her mother. The duo also included a can of chicken salt, sunscreen, two cans of their go-to beer, and NRL rugby jerseys for Archie and Lilibet.

But one item in particular sparked laughter.

When the pair presented a bikini-style swimsuit with “Aussie Bum” emblazoned across the back, Markle couldn’t resist making a playful joke about her husband, Harry: “For the love of my life. We might renew our vows with him wearing these.”

Elsewhere during her Australia trip, Markle made a surprise appearance on the Australian version of “MasterChef Australia,” stepping in as a guest judge alongside Poh Ling Yeow, Sofia Levin, and Jean-Christophe Novelli.

Her unexpected cameo left contestants visibly stunned, a reaction Yeow said was exactly what the judges had hoped for.

“The reaction from the contestants was exactly what we wanted. They were in total shock; everyone’s jaws were on the ground. In their wildest dreams, they would not have expected this, so it was very joyous for us to watch,” Yeow said, per PEOPLE Magazine.
