Over the weekend, Johnson updated her TikTok page with a video capturing what appeared to be an emotional breakdown. She filmed herself wiping away tears from her eyes, looking worn out as she spoke.

Her conversation was inaudible, but Johnson looked visibly shaken and in pain as she addressed the camera with a tear-stained face. The overlay text above her head read, “Mid crash out to my manager [Laughing so hard emoji].”

Johnson shed more light on her feelings in the post’s caption, writing, “Sick, body hurts, on my period. This is what my angel of a manager had to deal with yesterday lol.” She also tagged her manager, Kaila McWilliams, and garnered over a hundred comments from concerned fans.

Many rushed over to the comments to express concern about Johnson’s condition, which fans suspected was related to the “Dancing With The Stars” 2026 live tour. “The tour is clearly taking a toll on the entire cast. DWTS really needs to fix this!!” someone declared.

“DWTS Tour should be name changed to Survivor. It’s a brutally tough-looking endeavor,” a fellow concerned fan added. A third agreed, noting showrunners should “tour every other year or every two years to allow proper time, rest, organization, and preparation.”

The concerned comments continued with more TikTok users agreeing that the tour did not have to be as long as it was. A fan pointed out that most of the “DWTS” dancers were always “sick and hurt and just exhausted” by the end of the tour. More social media users called for showrunners to shorten the tour.

Johnson’s decision to share her vulnerable moment with fans might be related to her past comments about her mental health. The dancer has never shied away from the topic and once addressed it in a 2019 interview with Women’s Day.

The entertainer explained that she had to grow a thick skin to protect her mental health after gaining popularity on “So You Think You Can Dance” and “DWTS.” Johnson confessed that her first few seasons on the show saw her negatively impacted by the public’s opinion.

“I totally gave in to social media, and it really affected me, and it changed the way I was thinking about myself,” Johnson lamented. She revealed that the social media comments weren’t good for her as she became insecure and constantly compared herself to others.

According to Johnson, she had been in a depressed slump thanks to the negative social media comments until her father talked some sense into her. She recalled taking a trip home to see her family and getting called into the patriarch’s study for a heart-to-heart conversation.

Her father told her that he immediately sensed something was wrong, thanks to her demeanor, before dropping the advice that saved the day. “‘I just want you to know that comparison is the thief of all joy,'” Johnson recalled her father saying, noting those words helped her realize that she was focused on others rather than herself.

Thanks to her father’s words, Johnson developed a strict rule that saved her mental health from more turmoil. She stopped using social media whenever she filmed the dance show, choosing to share behind-the-scenes clips for fans but no longer engaging in the comments.

Six years after the interview about her mental health, Johnson’s patience was tested again in July 2025. The Blast covered the story, reporting that she was upset and shocked when an internet troll picked a fight over her son.

The drama began after Johnson shared a cute picture of herself bonding with her son, who was being fed with a bottle. The troll found the toddler’s actions deplorable, writing, “Way too old for this fat r-tard to have a bottle.” The comment naturally displeased Johnson.

She called out the critic in a heated post, wondering why a fellow mother would bash her child for no good reason. Johnson asked the woman to unfollow her immediately and get a life, telling fans the troll had contacted her through her DMs to drop the horrible comment.

Feel better soon, Jenna Johnson.
