Below the image of the ship at sea was the name of Madden and Diaz’s second son and the meaning behind the unique moniker. The illustration announced the appearance of a new character named “Nautus Madden”, pronounced, “NAW-tus /NAH-dis.”
The post explained that the name originated from the Latin root word “Nauta,” which held a deep meaning related to the sea. “MEANING: SAILOR, NAVIGATOR, VOYAGER. ONE WHO EMBARKS ON A JOURNEY AND FEARS NOT THE UNKNOWN,” the explanation read.

Down the carousel was another game-style illustration featuring a massive letter “N” designed like the North Star. “EVERY GREAT LEGEND BEGINS WITH A SINGLE VOYAGE” was written above the image, alongside what appeared to be Madden and Diaz’s hopes for their son.
The second message read, “CHART YOUR OWN COURSE. KEEP YOUR COMPASS TRUE. THE WORLD IS YOURS.” Madden also referenced his other two children in the post, sharing drawings of a red cardinal bird referencing his first son, Cardinal, and a potted plant symbolizing his daughter Raddix.

Nearly seven years before the birth of their second son, Madden and Diaz became parents for the first time on December 30, 2019. On that day, their daughter, Raddix, was born at Cedars Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles.
