Chrisley spilled the tea about the steps she has taken to help her with her plans of procreation. She shared that she had some of her eggs retrieved and frozen so that she is not left stranded in the future when she decides to have children. The media personality noted that the decision to take this step was not made on a whim; rather, it was a future-focused move she took after careful consideration.

Getting down to business on a Wednesday episode of the “Chrisley Confessions 2.0” podcast, the influencer revealed the cost of the procedure, remarking that it was “absolutely insane.” The 28-year-old said, “Just for this whole process of what I’m doing, it was $30,000 to $35,000. And what I struggle with is the fact that insurance doesn’t cover any of it.”

Chrisley made a point about how insurance plans do not involve such fertility procedures, but added that she is grateful to have the resources to push through with her decision, as well as the opportunity to see fertility doctors. “Insurance carriers should have to cover the costs of IVF if it is medically necessary,”  the 28-year-old said on the podcast.

She informed listeners that just for the Rx portion of the procedure, the cost lies between $3,000 and $8,000. Chrisley also praised her friend for helping her on this roller-coaster by mixing the medications and giving her shots.

Chrisley was diagnosed with endometriosis in her younger days, and the condition could likely impact her ability to conceive naturally in the future. She noted that ther journey with endometriosis has been a humbling experience, telling listeners that “there is a sense of shame that goes along with that and feeling like your body is failing you.”

The influencer also recalled a previous conversation she had with her friend where she wore her heart on her sleeve. She asked, her friend in frustration, “Doesn’t it just piss you off when you’re doing everything right in your life to get pregnant and you still can’t?”

The “Growing Up Chrisley” star also used her medium to encourage fans who might be going through similar issues. She assured them that they are not alone, as she is also on the endometriosis train. The media personality added that the reason she went through with freezing her eggs was that she wanted to be a step ahead on her fertility journey, even though she did not get as many eggs as she would like.

Chrisley previously shared that she struggled with very painful periods as a teenager, but because the condition was not widely discussed, her pain was often watered down as normal or overlooked, yet it kept getting worse. After seeing a gynecologist who put in an IUD to try to ease the pain, she was back with “excruciating pain” six months later.

Another doctor then discovered that the IUD had broken apart and separated in her uterus, requiring emergency surgery, and it was then that they determined Chrisley had endometriosis. She saw more doctors, tried different birth controls, and had a second surgery to try getting some of the endometriosis out, but they were not a permanent fix. The reality star told PEOPLE that the treatments only gave her relief for about six months or a year before the symptoms resurfaced.

On several days, she would feel nauseous and could not even get out of bed. Ultimately, the third time was a charm for Chrisley when she saw an endometriosis specialist, Dr. Ken Sinervo, and had her third surgery to remove all the endometriosis from her uterus, ovaries, bladder, and other nearby areas. Sinervo reportedly assured her that there is a less than 5% chance she will ever come back to see him for another procedure.

Last year, the influencer walked away from a two-year relationship with her former boyfriend, Robert Shiver, after which she shared that she hopes to marry someone older who would give her a “peaceful life.”  She told her brother Grayson, on an episode of her “Unlocked with Savannah Chrisley” podcast, that while she loves men who are a little broken, there comes a time when she would be tired of drama and chaos.

The outlet reported that Chrisley told her brother that she definitely wants to have her own kids soon, whether she gets married or not.  “If I’m gonna do it, I need to do it soon because I don’t want to be in my 30s having kids,” she said.

Chrisley confirmed her relationship with Shiver in November 2023 with an Instagram post, although rumors had it that the pair started dating in September of that year. Over a year later, Shiver appeared on her podcast. After their breakup, the “Chrisley Knows Best” star shared that Shiver’s ex-wife, who allegedly planned to murder him, had a hand in their split.

Chrisley launched her brand GoodGirlRx, which is focused on helping women who struggle with weight loss and reproductive health-related issues. She revealed that the inspiration for the brand was from her personal struggles with “endometriosis, hormonal imbalance, pre diabetic markers, stress, burnout,“ and more.

The issue arose because on the brand’s website, she wrote that her products were  “FDA-approved meds,” “FDA-approved options,“ and “clinically proven GLP-1 results.”  The FDA then issued a letter of warning to the podcaster, stating that she had violated federal law by implying that the semaglutide and tirzepatide products from her GoodGirlRX company were FDA-approved when the agency had not evaluated them.

The Blast reports that the FDA gave Chrisley a 15-business-day ultimatum to make the necessary corrections to the website or face legal action. She promptly made the changes from clinically proven to “clinically studied results” and added disclaimers that her GLP-1 drugs were not FDA-approved.
