Kylie Jenner won’t be relaxing after two weekends of fun at Coachella thanks to a new lawsuit.
The reality TV star was named as a defendant in a toxic workplace lawsuit filed by a former housekeeper. The plaintiff is a woman named Angelica Vasquez.
Although Kylie Jenner was named in the lawsuit, the bulk of the allegations were not against her but her other employees.
Kylie Jenner Named As A Defendant In Lawsuit About Bullying And Discrimination
According to the allegations filed against Kylie and her other employees, the entertainer needs to get a better handle on what occurs within her home. The plaintiff, Vasquez, detailed a toxic workplace environment where she was belittled for her race and religion.
In the legal documents filed in Los Angeles, Vasquez explained that she began working for Kylie on September 10, 2024, as a housekeeper in her Beverly Hills mansion. One week later, she was moved to Kylie’s Hidden Hills residence, where the nightmare began.
Vasquez, per the documents obtained by TMZ, noted that she had to report to a woman named Elsi and the head housekeeper, Patsy. The duo was accused of making her life a living hell, with Vasquez alleging that she was “treated with hostility and exclusion” as soon as she arrived.
The Former Housekeeper Was Allegedly Attacked Over Race and Religion
Vasquez claimed she faced bullying and discrimination because of her race and religion as a Salvadoran and Catholic woman. She recalled getting “belittled and humiliated in front of coworkers,” enduring comments such as “Catholics are horrible people” and deportation jokes.
The alleged bullying and discrimination extended to her duties, with Vasquez alleging that she was assigned the worst tasks and intentionally excluded from the housekeeping team. She noted that she was frequently shouted at and had people snapping their fingers at her.
The alleged abuse continued with a supervisor allegedly throwing hangers at her while reprimanding her. Vasquez stressed that the incident happened after she complained about the mistreatment. Eventually, the repeated abuse took its toll on her mental health.
The Plaintiff Is Seeking Punitive Damages
According to Vasquez, she developed “symptoms consistent with post-traumatic stress disorder” due to the toxic workplace environment. She claimed her symptoms led to more bullying incidents until she finally quit in August 2025.
Now, Vasquez wants compensation for her pain, seeking damages for unpaid wages, emotional distress, and more. She also asked for punitive damages. However, sources familiar with the situation called BS on Vasquez’s claims.
These sources told the outlet that Vasquez had been a junior housekeeping employee who was more trouble than she appeared to be. She allegedly had attendance issues, among other workplace concerns. As for why she named Kylie as a defendant in the lawsuit, it seemed linked to her failure to address Vasquez’s concerns.
The Reality TV Star’s Ex-Assistant Showered Her In Praise
While Vasquez allegedly endured a hard time working for Kylie, the same could not be said for her former assistant. Victoria Villarroel reflected on her experience working for the reality TV star during the March 18 episode of “Better Half with Stas and Vic.”
Villarroel revealed that her journey began as an unpaid intern at Kris Jenner’s Jenner Communications for more than a year before she scored a gig as Kylie’s house manager. She was eventually promoted to Kylie’s personal assistant and then an executive assistant.
She noted that her relationship with Kylie soon blossomed into a close friendship, but their working relationship concluded after an incident. Villarroel recalled she had been with Kylie in the kitchen when the latter noted she needed her laptop, which was upstairs.
“And I was like, ‘Oof, who’s gonna get that? I don’t want to go get your laptop,'” Villarroel said. She noted the moment was the turning point in their working relationship as it showed Villarroel was ready for change. She praised Kylie for supporting her decision and encouraging her to reach greater heights.

Weeks before the new lawsuit dropped, The Blast reported that Kylie had shared an emotional story with Kid Cudi. She appeared on the rapper’s podcast, where she recalled the conversation she had with her oldest child, daughter Stormi.
According to Kylie, the 8-year-old had asked her why they were famous, and she took her down the Kardashian-Jenner family’s history. She explained to Stormi that their clan rose to fame through a reality TV show and played some “cute scenes” for the series.
After the touching moment, Kylie claimed she had gone to bed and started crying for no reason. She could not understand her feelings, suspecting it had something to do with the fact that she was a year older than Stormi when her family’s reality TV journey began.
