Social media users and public figures, including Ana Navarro, are calling out Caitlyn Jenner after she voiced concerns about her safety following a passport issue. Jenner, 76, has long supported Donald Trump despite criticism of his administration’s anti-LGBTQ+ policies—stances critics say she endorsed with her vote.

Caitlyn Jenner Opens Up About Struggles After Government Marks Male On Her Passport

Jenner, who, of course, rose to fame as an Olympian and was later thrust back into the spotlight on “Keeping Up With the Kardashians,” spoke with conservative personality Tomi Lahren on an episode of her “Fearless” podcast.

During the show, Jenner said that she was no longer able to travel internationally due to her passport having her assigned gender at birth on it rather than how she identifies today.

In the episode, Jenner said she worked hand in hand with government officials to ensure all her documentation was changed from male to female.

“All my documentation was right. My passport, global entry, I traveled around the world,” she said.

Things got dicey, however, after President Trump’s executive order, Defending Women from Gender Ideology Extremism and Restoring Biological Truth to the Federal Government, which mandated federal agencies recognize two sexes, male and female, based on “biological sex at birth.”

While Jenner said she “loves” President Trump, she doesn’t believe that the politician grasped the challenges his executive order could present for people like her.

“Recently, I had my passport, I had to get it renewed. I sent it back. It comes back with gender marker M. Screws everything up. There’s a form in there if they made a mistake, you can correct it, so I fill out all the proper forms,” Jenner said during the podcast.

Jenner explained that she could’ve called the president on his personal cell phone, but she decided against it to help shine the spotlight on the others. “… it’s about all people in this situation,” she said.

Continuing, Jenner said she tried to appeal the decision to have the “M” marker placed on her passport, but had no luck. “They sent it back: M. They didn’t change it at all,” she said.

Jenner went on to say that she’s now found herself in a difficult position, saying, “This is a safety factor.”

“I can’t travel internationally anymore. I can’t use my passport. I can use Global Entry, it says F, I can travel in the United States, driver’s license, pilot’s license, everything, gender marker F. It really creates a big problem,” she continued.

The clip of Jenner on Lahren’s podcast has been making the rounds online, being shared across various social media platforms and garnering a strong response.

Several netizens are slamming the TV personality, while others are offering indifferent responses because of her political affiliation.

“Stay home and enjoy your vote,” someone wrote, while another said, “Congratulations! You got what you voted for.”

A third user shared a comment suggesting Jenner might’ve been surprised that Trump’s executive order would apply to her as well. “She can’t believe her privilege ain’t privilegeing,” they posted.

That wasn’t the end of it, though. Even more internet users chimed in, flaming the former athlete for appearing to garner sympathy from the public.

“What did [she] THINK was gonna happen when [she] voted for that man?!” a passionate user wrote, while another said, “You supported a party that made dehumanizing trans people a campaign promise… wtf did you expect was going to happen?”

To make matters even worse, the fiery daytime television host Ana Navarro also blasted Jenner, writing, “Boo-hoo. Cry me a f-cking river.”

As previously mentioned, Jenner has been a long-time supporter of Trump. In January 2025, she opened up about how grateful she was that Trump would “MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN.”

“Always stick with your gut. I supported him from DAY 1 and was honored to be there for the first inauguration. Happier than ever to be back for the second one,” she captioned a photo.

According to a previous report from The Blast, Caitlyn’s admiration and respect for President Trump extended so far that she even campaigned with his wife in 2024 to appeal to LGBTQ+ voters.

The event was held at the Tea Room at the Palm Beach Club and included around 60 guests, including Dr. Oz and Elizabeth Ailes.
