Chrissy Teigen & John Legend Welcome New Fur Baby Into Their Family

Chrissy Teigen has welcomed a new addition into her “Cancel Club” and home.
The former model and her husband, John Legend, just announced the arrival of their new (fur) baby Pearl.
As The Blast previously reported, the family of four recently lost their French bulldog, Pippa, on July 15.
Chrissy announced the heartbreaking news on her Instagram writing, “our beautiful little pippa just died in my arms, not long ago. she was 10, I remember picking her up in Gainesville and documenting our trip home. She was a sassy broad - loved her pearl necklace and never took s*** from ANY new dog we brought in.”

“Our road dog with Sade, a tour dog for years. we loved her so much. We love you sweet girl. I know you’re giving puddy hell up there. Thank you for giving us your whole life,” her post continued.
Well, there’s a light at the end of this dark tunnel, because nearly two weeks later, puppy Pearl came home!
Chrissy announced the exciting news on Tuesday, July 27, taking to Instagram with adorable photos and a video.
Pearl is a Basset Hound puppy with the most adorable long ears and face.

Chrissy captioned the photo gallery, “Pearl has touched down into the legend/teigen/stephens household! We love this little girl so much already but I will admit, she has definitely taken to John first!! Penny is obsessed with her so it’s been fun watching the adventures of penny and pearl unfold.”
Fun fact, the "Cravings" author grew up with this particular breed of pups!
“I can’t wait for John to see this bouncy, no-bones, jello mold of skin grow into the stubborn logs of love I love so much. Excited for this new little heart to add love to our home. Swipe for ear magic!” she wrote.
He's Already In Love!
Chrissy also revealed the name “Pearl” is a tribute to their dog Pippa.
“You were always an iconic, different lady when your pearls were on. I’ll never forget when they shattered in front of you and you sunk into a funk for weeks until we got you a new one lol,” she said of her former pooch.
Pearl already looks like she’s taking to becoming a member of the Teigen/Legend/Stephens household swimmingly.
