Natasha Lyonne needs to “pull it together,” at least that is what fans are saying after her recent stunt at the airport.
The actress has left her name on many lips after her appearance at the “Euphoria” season 3 premiere, with online critics slamming her fashion choice. Now, with the recent headlines and her social media updates, more backlash ensues.
Natasha Lyonne has been vocal about her struggles with overcoming addiction over the years. She previously shared that she was on a sobriety journey, noting the challenges that come with giving up old habits.
Natasha Lyonne’s Reaction To Her Delta Moment Backfires

Lyonne had to be escorted off her flight from L.A. to New York City after being uncooperative with the flight staff. The actress took to X, writing that she was looking forward to seeing Drew Barrymore upon her arrival in NYC, but it wasn’t in the cards anymore since she was taken off the plane. What raised eyebrows was that Lyonne began her tweet writing, “My heart is with all the unpaid TSA agents at our airports.”
Fans began to wonder why she would refer to flight attendants and pilots as TSA staff, as they were the ones who removed her from the plane. The user also noted that TSA agents are being paid for their jobs. Another fan who echoed similar thoughts wrote, “TSA agents are being paid… yikes, girl, pull it together.” Lyonne, who reportedly did not have her head in the game, refused to respond to the flight attendant who asked her to close her laptop and fasten her seatbelt before the flight took off.
A fan called her out on it before advising that she quit drinking. “Heard you didn’t follow basic commands like closing your laptop or fastening your seat belt before take off. You’re a mess. The bottle is not your friend,” they wrote. Another fan predicted that rehab was in the works for Lyonne once again. “Next, she will announce she is entering rehab,” they penned.
What Really Happened On The Delta Flight?

According to reports and eyewitness accounts, the actress who was seated in first class seemed out of it and did not respond to flight attendants when asked to fasten her seatbelt for takeoff and close her laptop. Several flight attendants tried to get Lyonne to obey the instructions, but she did not budge. The actress had the same shades and stockings she wore at the “Ephoria” premiere and appeared to be dozing behind her sunglasses.
Eyewitnesses saw her even getting startled at one point and saying, “Ah! You scared me!” while the attendants tried to get her to obey. After repeated tries, the Hollywood star’s laptop was eventually taken out of her hand, and the plane taxied to the runway, but then later turned back to the gate. Page Six reports that a Delta staffer came on the plane and asked if she needed medical attention before telling her to get off the aircraft.
Lyonne was overheard asking the staff, “Where are we?” and in response, they told her the flight had not taken off from L.A. After she unboarded, the pilot apologized to the remaining passengers for the one-hour delay and inconvenience due to “a passenger who wouldn’t follow some basic commands.” A commenter referenced the pilot’s words while slamming the actress, “Maybe you should apologize to the people on the flight who were trying to make connections in NY since you made them an hour late.”
Natasha Lyonne‘s Flight Mishap Was On The Back Of A Red Carpet Backlash

Lyonne made heads turn with her appearance on the red carpet for HBO’s season three premiere of “Euphoria,” but not for the right reasons. The 47-year-old director stepped out in a completely see-through black top that exposed her chest beneath the fabric.
She paired the sheer tank-style top with nude corset-inspired shorts, patterned black tights, black chunky combat boots, and layered statement jewelry. Lyonne also had a black coat with fringes at the bottom, which she placed over one shoulder as she posed for pictures confidently.
As shared by The Blast, many online users called her out, labeling her outfit “inappropriate,” while some expressed disappointment in her dress choice for the event. “Indecent exposure. Seriously, what the hell is wrong with people?” a commenter voiced. Another comment was not directed at the actress but at Hollywood’s standards, “Why does Hollywood allow this? C’mon, have a dress code,” they exclaimed.
The Actress Hit Stumbling Blocks On Sobriety Journey

In January, Lyonne revealed that she had relapsed after being in her sobriety journey for nearly a decade. She told her followers about her setback in a post on X, followed by another post of encouragement to fans who may have also been struggling with recovery.
The actress admonished fans to recognize that recovery from addiction, although it may seem challenging, is not a solo path. Her struggles with substance abuse affected her personal life and career. Lyonne felt she was so far gone that she didn’t think she could come back to acting.
USA Today detailed that the Emmy-nominated actress was arrested for DUI in 2001 and five years later was sent to court-appointed rehab after facing criminal mischief, harassment, and trespassing charges. The charges were raised from allegations that Lyonne threatened to molest a neighbor’s dog during an argument. Before this recent relapse, Lyonne previously claimed that she had not used drugs since she went into rehab in 2006.
Natasha Lyonne Had Cold Feet About Quitting Cigarettes

While many barely admitted they miss the life they once lived with using drugs, Lyonne did not hold back, sharing that she missed smoking cigarettes. She revealed that her decision to quit smoking was “the worst decision” she ever made, describing it as one of the “greatest loves of her life.”
Lyonne voiced that she hopes one day, technology will advance to the point where she would be able to smoke freely without consequences. The “Poker Face” actress also noted that saying goodbye to smoking was a very tough decision for her.
According to The Blast, after the TV star expressed how much she missed smoking by reposting a throwback picture of herself with a cigarette in her mouth, many fans began to flood in with words of encouragement. They urged her to remain committed and engage in other things to take her mind off the urge to return to the habit.
Will Natasha Lyonne listen to the words of advice from fans?
