A resurfaced text message from convicted sex trafficker Ghislaine Maxwell to Melania Trump is fueling fresh online speculation about alleged ties to disgraced financier Jeffrey Epstein.
The First Lady played down the rumors of her ties to the late sex offender, urging the public to shun what she described as baseless rumors.
The renewed scrutiny comes amid reports that Maxwell has sought clemency from Donald Trump and is allegedly receiving preferential treatment behind bars.
Ghislaine Maxwell’s Text To Melania Trump Resurfaces

An alleged message exchange between Maxwell and Mrs. Trump has resurfaced online, fueling fresh speculation about the First Lady’s possible proximity to Epstein.
The purported correspondence is part of a broader cache of documents released by the Justice Department during its investigations into the disgraced financier.
In the exchange, a message signed “Love, Melania” appears to praise a magazine profile of “JE,” believed to reference Epstein, while also complimenting Maxwell’s appearance in the accompanying photo.
The conversation then shifts to travel plans, with Melania mentioning a possible trip to Palm Beach.
Melania Denies Knowing Epstein And Maxwell

The resurfaced exchange comes as Melania Trump publicly shut down any alleged ties to Epstein and Maxwell during a surprise White House address on Thursday.
Calling the claims “mean-spirited,” the First Lady pushed back against long-running speculation, including rumors that Epstein had introduced her to Donald Trump.
“The lies linking me with the disgraceful Jeffrey Epstein need to end today,” she said, insisting the narrative is an attempt to damage her reputation, per the BBC.
Trump acknowledged that she and her husband occasionally attended the same high-profile events because of their overlapping social circles in New York and Palm Beach. However, she stressed that she never had any personal relationship with Epstein or Maxwell.
The former model also denied claims that she had any insight into their crimes.
“I have never had any knowledge of Epstein’s abuse of his victims,” she said. “I was never involved in any capacity. I was not a participant.”
Melania Trump Calls For Congressional Hearing For Epstein’s Victims

Melania also called for congressional hearings that would allow survivors of Epstein’s sex trafficking network to testify publicly.
Urging lawmakers to act, she said victims should be allowed to testify under oath before Congress.
“Each and every woman should have her day to tell her story in public if she wishes, and then her testimony should be permanently entered into the congressional record,” Melania said. “Then, and only then, we will have the truth.”
She went on to emphasize the need for continued transparency.
“Of course, this doesn’t amount to guilt, but we still must work openly and transparently to uncover the truth,” she added.
After concluding her remarks, Melania declined to take questions from reporters.
Online Reactions Pour In

Amid the re-emergence of the email exchange and Melania Trump’s surprise White House address, social media erupted with mixed reactions, as users debated the timing and tone of her response.
Some questioned why the issue was being addressed now.
“This has been out for weeks, why suddenly does she take issue with it?” a Reddit user wrote. “This isn’t a casual acquaintance.”
Others speculated that the situation could escalate even further.
“She’s distancing herself, and her voice was trembling. Something is about to go down!” another commenter claimed.
Not all reactions were serious, with some users taking a more sarcastic tone. One person quipped: “Let’s hope nobody decides to nuke a country as a distraction.”
Ghislaine Maxwell Pleads For Clemency

Maxwell is currently serving a 20-year federal prison sentence after being convicted of sex trafficking and conspiring with Jeffrey Epstein to abuse underage girls.
Sentenced in June 2022, she is being held at a minimum-security Federal Prison Camp in Bryan, Texas, with a projected release date in the early 2040s.
Earlier this year, Maxwell declined to answer questions when she appeared before the House Oversight Committee. However, her lawyer, David Markus, later indicated that she would be willing to speak more openly… if President Trump grants her clemency, per NBC News.
According to Markus, Maxwell possesses critical information about Epstein’s network but is currently unable to share it due to ongoing legal challenges to her conviction. Meanwhile, Trump himself hasn’t publicly ruled out pardoning Maxwell.
