Kelly poured her heart out in a series of Instagram Story posts on Tuesday, April 7. The photo dump began with pictures from her time at an art exhibition in London featuring works by Keith Haring.

She enjoyed the event with her older brother, Louis, her niece, Maia, and her nephew, Elijah, posing for a group photo. After these pictures came Kelly’s deep reflections about grief and loss; she implied that the good times could not overshadow the pain of Ozzy’s absence.

“You think life is hard? Wait until you can’t call your dad anymore,” Kelly wrote over a picturesque video of the setting sun. In another post, she shared a quote from the late actor Robin Williams about how “people who have been through the most sadness” always try to make others happy.

The quote from Williams added that people who have experienced sadness always try to make others happy because they don’t want anyone to know what it feels like to be “empty and depressed.” Kelly’s hints at hiding her sadness continued in another message.

The statement began, “When people tell me ‘You have such a big heart,’ I smile. Because they don’t see the cost of it.” The message added that behind the smiles were dark moments of overthinking and loving people who don’t love you back.

The quote seemed to hint at Kelly’s feelings following the end of her engagement to Sid Wilson. Her posts about grief and sadness came weeks after Kelly revealed that she had visited her father’s final resting place in Birmingham, England.

Entertainment Weekly covered Kelly’s visit to Ozzy’s grave in March, reporting that she had shared the news on her Instagram Stories. “Spent some time with my daddy this morning!” she captioned the first post, which showed a small lake surrounded by greenery.

On the bank of the lake was a massive floral arrangement that spelled out “OZZY F-CKING OSBOURNE.” A close-up shot revealed Kelly had visited to adorn her father’s grave with flowers, showing a colorful arrangement of pink and white roses, yellow daffodils, and purple flowers.

The outlet noted that the 250-acre property has been in the Osbourne family for over three decades. Ozzy and his wife, Sharon, purchased the Birmingham estate in 1993, with reports claiming the late musician always wished to be buried by the lake.

As stated, Kelly has been vocal about the pain of losing her father and addressed his passing at the 2026 Grammys. The Blast shared that she opened up about her grief during a red carpet interview, confessing that she wasn’t “doing so great.”

“It’s the hardest thing I’ve ever been through in my life,” Kelly said about Ozzy’s passing. She added that she wasn’t alone in her pain, noting the other members of the Osbourne family were doing their best to “live in his legacy and be happy.”

Kelly echoed similar sentiments about how her family had been coping in a separate interview, crediting her then-fiancé, Wilson, her mom, and her brother for their support. At the time, Kelly declared that they had become closer as a family.

Although Kelly was grateful to Wilson for his support following her father’s death, the bond between them changed a month after the interview. The Blast reported in March that sources close to the Osbournes had announced the end of Kelly’s engagement.

One insider claimed Kelly and Wilson had decided to end their romance, eight months after the latter proposed in July 2025. They seemingly implied Ozzy’s death played a key role in the breakup, saying, “The grieving process has been incredibly difficult.”

Besides the pain of Ozzy’s death, the insider added that things between Kelly and Wilson had not been rosy for a while. They alleged the pair had been facing challenges in their relationship and tried to fix things for their son’s sake. Unfortunately, a breakup was inevitable.
