Although the additional charges are not related to Joseph Duggar’s child molestation case, that did not make his alleged crimes any less grave. Nonetheless, his longtime partner appears to be sticking by his side no matter what.

According to new legal documents, Joseph and Kendra were still lovey-dovey amid his detainment in an Arkansas facility following his March 18 arrest. The lonely husband contacted his wife first on March 23, penning sweet nothings despite his situation.
Joseph raved about his feelings for Kendra, declaring that he loved her “to the moon and back.” It seemed his message resonated with his longtime partner, who responded with similar sentiments in an email. “I love you!! Hang in there,” Kendra encouraged Joseph.
Their email exchange, obtained by TMZ, captured Kendra seemingly unfazed by the child molestation drama and more concerned about being a supportive wife. Their conversations saw them repeatedly professing their love for each other.

In one conversation, Joseph noted that it was wonderful talking to Kendra over the phone and opened up about keeping her in his prayers. He cited “Psalms 8, 18, 54, 86, 91, 119, and 139,” hoping Kendra would give it a read or listen to the audio if needed.
According to Joseph, he replaced each of the personal pronouns with Kendra’s name while reading Psalm 54, claiming it brought him “great comfort.” Kendra responded to his message with a similar declaration of love, dropping what could be perceived as her stance on his child molestation case.
The doting wife sent Joseph the lyrics to Megan Woods’ song, “The Truth,” which read, “I don’t belong to the lies / I belong to you.” The couple’s email exchange was unveiled after the details of their March 25 phone call made waves.

PEOPLE covered the details of the phone call, reporting that Joseph appeared to be thinking of the worst-case scenario. Like a man who might never regain his freedom, Joseph called Kendra to teach her how to manage his rental business.
The disgraced Duggar reportedly has several rental properties in Arkansas, which he highlighted in his conversation with Kendra. He showed her the ropes of the business, explaining how he lists the home, who is responsible for cleaning the properties, and what to do about a house that is under renovation.
Additionally, Joseph told Kendra that he had signed a legal document granting her power of attorney, which allowed her to make both legal and financial decisions on his behalf. As for the business, Joseph didn’t have to worry, as Kendra was a fast learner, informing him that she already had a handle on things.
The Doting Wife Isn’t The Only Family Member On Her Husband’s Side
More unearthed emails from Joseph’s stay in Arkansas’ Washington County Detention Center revealed that Kendra wasn’t the only person on her husband’s side. US Weekly revealed that Joseph’s brother-in-law, Austin Forsyth, had sent him a supportive message.
Austin, who is married to Joseph’s sister Joy-Anna Duggar, penned his love to his incarcerated brother-in-law. He noted that he wouldn’t ask about the case, assuring Joseph that he only needed to talk to his attorney.
“Please know that God works despite the sin of man for his good,” Austin continued, vowing that he and his family would give Kendra the help she needs. Unlike his supportive stance, Joy-Anna noted on March 26 that her heart was with the alleged victim.

Following Joseph’s arrest on child molestation charges, stemming from an incident that allegedly happened in Florida in 2020, his wife was arrested two days later. These additional charges were not related to the molestation case but to the discovery of external locks on the doors in the couple’s Arkansas home. Kendra lamented the situation in a phone call with Joseph, noting their kids had been taken from her.
