Nancy Guthrie‘s mysterious disappearance has made headlines for over two months now, with no end in sight following law enforcement’s inability to work up a viable lead.

However, several new notes have now been released in which the author claims they saw the missing octogenarian in Mexico while demanding one Bitcoin to deliver her abductors “on a silver platter.”

It comes as Nancy’s daughter Savannah Guthrie made an emotional return to “TODAY” amid her mother’s disappearance.

An anonymous individual sent TMZ a couple of notes claiming they have information on Nancy Guthrie amid her continuous disappearance.

The 84-year-old matriarch was abducted from her Tucson, Arizona home in early February after a night out with her daughter Annie Guthrie’s family.

Since then, there has been no breakthrough in ensuring she returns safely, as law enforcement seems to have been hitting a dead end in their investigation.

Now, the person who sent the notes to the news outlet on Monday claims they saw Nancy in Mexico while maintaining that their demand for one Bitcoin to share viable information still stands.

“I saw her alive with them in the state of Sonora, Mexico,” one of the notes read, referencing the large Mexican state bordering parts of New Mexico and Arizona, where Nancy lived.

While the author of the new ransom notes wrote that they saw Nancy in Mexico, they seemed to claim that she was no longer alive, as they explicitly stated in the first note that she “is dead.”

The informant also remained adamant on receiving money via a Bitcoin wallet that they created in February in a bid to receive payment anonymously for their supposed information.

However, law authorities don’t believe it is real, particularly because the said Bitcoin address has seen no deposit. The writer seemingly sensed that this was the case as they called out the authorities in their first letter.

“It’s unbelievable that millions have been wasted and yet here I am willing to deliver them on a silver platter since the 11th of February for a bitcoin, but I am disregarded as a scam … they are free, and the case is frozen, but the egos remain hot when it comes to me. Arrogance at its finest,” they wrote.

The Tipster Claims They Are Not Involved In The Crime And Just Wants ‘What’s Fair’

Elsewhere, the alleged informant even proposed a 50-50 mode of payment just to seemingly encourage transparency and show just how serious they are.

According to the news outlet, they claim they are okay with receiving half a bitcoin for the information, while the remaining half would be paid upon arrest.

The source also stated that they were not an accomplice to the kidnapping of Nancy, as they have been out of the country for five years now and had nothing to do with the “horrific crime.”

“I just want what’s fair and to live peacefully with enough to start my life again quietly without having to join a witness protection program,” they penned in the second note.

The new development comes as Savannah returned to her hosting duties for “Today” on Monday despite the fact that her mom still hasn’t been found.

The TV host was pulled off air after Nancy’s disappearance made global headlines, but upon her return, she did all she could to put her personal issues aside and do all she could to help.

After outlining the top news of the day, she weighed in on the sunlight next to her co-anchor Craig Melvin.

“Pretty shot of the sun coming up. Good morning, welcome to Today. On this Monday morning, we are so glad you started your week with us, and it’s good to be home,” Savannah said, per People Magazine.

“Yes, it’s good to have you back at home,” Melvin told her.

“Well, here we go, ready or not. Let’s do the news,” Savannah said, as Melvin added, “Yes, so good to have you back.”
