Lindsey Buckingham In Another Stalker Chaos After 2024 Restraining Order

The Fleetwood Mac former guitarist was reportedly ambushed by an unidentified woman at his scheduled visit. Upon his entry into the building, the alleged stalker reportedly threw an unknown substance at the singer before fleeing the scene.
Law enforcement agents are reportedly yet to make any arrest as early as this morning, April 1, 2026, but the woman is not a stranger to the singer due to the past attacks she had unleashed. According to the cops, the alleged stalker may have gotten wind of Buckingham’s location and showed up way before him.
Luckily for the actor, NBC Los Angeles confirmed that he did not suffer any injuries from the attack, and both the Santa Monica Police and the Los Angeles Police Department are right on top of the situation.
The Vocalist Secured A Five-Year Restraining Order Against A Stalker In 2024
In December 2024, the musician was granted a permanent restraining order by a Los Angeles judge after he got in the witness dock to testify as part of his plea for protection against the stalker named Michelle.
As shared by The Blast, the five-year restraining order comes after he was previously granted a temporary restraining order, with the stalker’s fate sealed when Buckingham showed him a picture Michelle left at his home during her break-in.
The stalker was ordered to keep at least 100 yards away from Buckingham, his wife, Kristen Buckingham, and his son, William Buckingham. Michelle was also asked not to make any contact with the singer or attempt to threaten him from then till December 2029.
Lindsey Buckingham’s Stalker Raised A False Alarm About His Son In 2024
The former band singer’s stalker took things to the extreme when she called 911 in 2023 by reporting to emergency services that a gun had been fired from his home, and it was from his son. Buckingham shared that police rushed to his home and immediately handcuffed him while they tore down the entire building, looking for evidence to verify the claims, but found nothing.
He was eventually let go after it was discovered that the call was fake. According to detectives, Michelle remained convinced that the singer was her father, which was why she had been keeping tabs on Buckingham and his family.
Last September, her vehicle was found outside the former band singer’s home, and authorities were tipped off by a security guard, leading to her being detained and questioned by the police.
The ‘Go Your Own Way’ Singer’s Admission About His Split From Stevie Nicks
Buckingham and his former bandmate became an item in 1972 after their rock band “Fritz” broke up, and in 1973, they released a self-titled album titled “Buckingham Nicks,” which failed commercially, plunging them into a financial mess.
The Blast reported that by 1976, the duo parted ways while recording their “Rumors” album. Buckingham revealed years later that he never really got closure after they went their separate ways, and it was even worse because they were forced to still work together. In his words:
“Most people, when they break up, they don’t see each other for a long time or maybe ever again. But you’re not constantly having to not only see someone but, in my case, make the choice to do right for someone when I didn’t always feel that I wanted to, you know?”
At that moment, she knew they were done. Nicks revealed that the relationship did not seem so fun anymore, and all she craved was solitude. The “Dreams” singer continued that their romantic arrangement no longer served both of them, but she was the one bold enough to end it all.
Lindsey Buckingham’s Band Is Not The Only Longtime Relationship He Lost
The former Fleetwood Mac vocalist’s wife, Kristen, filed for divorce in 2021, 21 years after they got married in 2000 and welcomed three children together. Buckingham and Kristen met in the 1990s when she photographed him for his solo album cover.
At the time of the divorce filing, the couple’s last child was 17 years old, which meant a custody battle would not drag out for a long time. In the document, Kristen cited irreconcilable differences with the timing coinciding with the news of his new solo album and tour.
Buckingham broke his silence after the filing, sharing that they were working things out through a third party and counseling. He admitted that the COVID-19 pandemic and his heart surgery in 2019 put a major strain on their relationship.
