Kim Zolciak‘s estranged husband is seeking a major change to the status quo!
The reality star’s estranged husband, Kroy Biermann, is over the kids being in her custody and intensifies his move to gain sole custody for the sake of safety and stability.
Kim Zolciak is also currently dealing with a deposition summons from her current partner’s estranged wife, Jillian Green, who is seeking some crucial info about her relationship with the company co-founder.
Kim Zolciak’s Estranged Husband Slammed Her Parenting Skills
The “Real Housewives of Atlanta” alum’s estranged husband is now seeking sole custody of their four minor kids, citing her unstable schedule as his reason for making the move. He requested in his court document that the current custody arrangement be immediately reviewed to give him greater control.
In his words, “The facts surrounding [Kim’s] misguided parenting of the children, lack thereof, and blatant mismanagement of basic parenting responsibilities would be practically unbelievable to anyone not familiar with the circumstances.” Biermann noted that his estranged wife did not fully hold up the end of the bargain when she entered into the temporary custody arrangement that granted them joint custody of their children.
He continued that Zolciak has been in and out of the country and failing to spend time with the children for about a month, except for one night, when the dog bit one of the kids at her place. As stated by TMZ, Biermann continued that Zolciak was also defaulting on the terms of the therapy, which they both agreed upon as part of their agreement.

Since making the move to end their marriage, Biermann and Zolciak have been at odds with different levels of weighty public allegations and claims against each other. The Blast stated that the reality star disclosed during a podcast that she had to deal with her valuables always going missing during her marriage to the retired NFL linebacker.
She revealed that expensive pieces of jewelry she got before getting married to him had gone missing, including those of her oldest daughter. Zolciak noted that her engagement ring and earrings were spared from the disaster because she took some safety measures. The reality star added that her luxury handbags were also swiped by Biermann, who became financially incapacitated due to his poor finances.
Zolciak took her suspicions towards Biermann a step further by filing a police report with claims that he stole expensive items and medication prescriptions worth hundreds of thousands of dollars. The couple sealed a temporary custody agreement for their six kids in February, although details of this deal were not disclosed.
Kim Zolciak Raised The Possibility Of Her Estranged Husband Suffering Cognitive Issues
The television personality mentioned her ex’s psychological condition in their divorce proceeding, demanding that a court-mandated order be made for a proper evaluation of his mental state. Zolciak explained that Biermann’s behavior around their minor children has become worrisome due to his spreading defamatory comments behind her back with them.
The Bravo star asked that the court include medical experts in the proceeding to evaluate Biermann for potential cognitive issues due to the barrage of injuries he suffered in the past as an athlete. The mother-of-six noted that a Boston University Study claimed that over 90% of former NFL players suffered from one cognitive defect or the other after several episodes of taking hits to the head during active play.
Zolciak’s suggested evaluation will reportedly consist of a Chronic Traumatic Encephalopathy (CTE) test to investigate for any signs of a progressively degenerating mental condition.
The Possibility Of An Affair Was Ruled Out In The Reality Star’s New Relationship
Sources close to Zolciak and her boyfriend revealed that they had both separated from their estranged partners before finding their way to each other and getting into a relationship. As noted by The Blast, the Bravo alum had waited for almost two years post-separation from Biermann before putting herself out there.
Her relationship with the entrepreneur marked her first serious romantic adventure since leaving Biermann, as she claimed she was happy and living her best life without being married to him.
Mowitz and the reality star reportedly became an item around the spring of 2025, and a few months after that, Biermann had warned Green about Zolciak’s spending habits, which may leave Mowitz bankrupt. Biermann also described Zolciak as a narcissist who battled with a gambling addiction and charged groceries from Instacart on Mowitz’s credit card.
Kim Zolciak To Provide Sensitive Records About Her New Relationship
The entrepreneur is currently in the middle of a $100 million divorce from Green, whom he married in 2017 and separated from in 2024. Zolciak has now reportedly agreed to a deposition by Green’s lawyers to answer a few important questions about her boyfriend.
While the utmost secrecy would be maintained as regards the transcript from the questioning, Zolciak will have to provide answers to questions on money, gifts, and even loans obtained from Mowitz since the relationship began. The reality star would also be asked to provide records of her phone conversation and texts with Mowitz.
Zolciak’s agreement to participate in the process did not come easily, as an initial resistance was displayed via her lawyer, Marvin Solomiany, who clarified that a relationship between his client and Mowitz only began after he separated from Green.
