Tiger Woods friends are getting real with him following his recent rollover crash, where he was allegedly driving under the influence.

Some of them have expressed concerns for him and are now insisting that he get his act together, especially because of his age.

The recent crash makes it the fourth accident Tiger Woods has been involved in over the past several years, and he could miss out on the 2026 Masters tournament.

Following Woods’ arrest on suspicion of driving under the influence after a rollover crash in Jupiter Island on Friday, those close to him are reportedly getting fed up with his behavior and now want him to step up.

According to People Magazine, a source shared that the golf star’s inner circle has expressed concerns for him and thinks he needs to “get real,” especially as it relates to his relationship with girlfriend Vanessa Trump, whom he has been dating for over a year now.

“They are an intense couple,” the insider told the news outlet. “It’s serious, but Tiger has yet to look in the mirror and say, ‘You’re 50 years old and need to act like it.'”

“He is enabled by people making money off of his talent and reputation, but with his injuries and age, he is frustrated and depressed about his state of health,” the insider said of Woods. “He wants to play in major tournaments like the Masters, but he needs to get real.”

“Once he does that, he should be better off because people do like Tiger. He is a good person,” the source added.

That Friday, Woods was cruising in his posh Land Rover car when he attempted to overtake a truck pulling a small trailer on a narrow stretch of South Beach Road. His vehicle clipped the back of the trailer, causing it to flip onto its side and skid across the road.

Although he “blew triple zeroes” on a breathalyzer, confirming alcohol was not a factor, authorities stated that he appeared “lethargic” and showed “signs of impairment” following the accident.

He refused to take a urinalysis after which he was arrested and charged with driving under the influence, with property damage, and refusal to submit to a lawful test.

It appears the 50-year-old sports star is dealing with a backlog of trauma as a source told the news outlet that he “has never really gotten over” the death of his father, Earl, who passed away nearly 2 decades ago.

“Tiger needs to get a grip on his limitations and make arrangements for them,” the source said. “His peace of mind has run amok over golf and his pain.”

The latest accident makes it the fourth time he’ll be involved in an automobile crash following separate crashes in 2009, 2017, and 2021.

His 2021 crash was particularly terrible as it almost resulted in the amputation of his right leg.

Authorities said that there were no signs of impairment in that crash, and the golf icon was wearing his seat belt.

In recent times, he has managed to keep a clean bill of health and returned to pro golfing following multiple injuries.

It remains to be seen if he’ll make it to the 2026 Masters tournament following his accident.

However, a source told People that should he decide to enter the competition, his girlfriend Vanessa “would support his decision.”

The insider went further to note Woods “despises public scrutiny” like the one he has faced since his DUI arrest.

“He is not a social butterfly and prefers to hang around his home with his kids, or hitting balls, or play video games,” they added.

President Donald Trump was recently speaking to reporters in Miami when he claimed Woods won’t make it for the Masters tournament this year after previously winning it five times.

The billionaire politician notably expressed concern for Woods, saying he felt bad for him as he’s going through a rough patch.

“I feel so badly. He’s got some difficulty. There was an accident, and that’s all I know. A very close friend of mine. He’s an amazing person, an amazing man. But some difficulty,” Trump said.

“I love Tiger, but he won’t be there. Well, he’ll be there, but he won’t be playing in it,” Trump said on Fox News’ “The Five” about Woods’ participation in the Masters tournament.
