The woman accusing NFL star Puka Nacua of misconduct has withdrawn her request for a restraining order, according to a new report. The Los Angeles Rams player has been embroiled in controversy over the last few months, as he faced backlash in November 2025 after performing a gesture many viewed as antisemitic.
Woman Accusing Puka Nacua Of Biting Her, Breaking Her Skin Has Withdrawn Her Request For A Restraining Order

TMZ reported on March 27, 2026, that the woman accusing Nacua of biting her and using derogatory language has withdrawn her request for a restraining order.
Joseph Karr, the attorney representing Madison Atiabi, the woman at the center of the controversy, says that while she has withdrawn her restraining order request, she’s moving forward with her civil lawsuit.
Karr further used his time to slam Nacua’s representatives for allegedly sharing “inflammatory statements” about his client.
What Has Puka Nacua Found Himself In The Middle Of Now?
According to a previous report from The Blast, Nacua was accused by Atiabi of biting her during a night out in December 2025 after becoming a bit “touchy-feely.”
The original legal document claims Nacua “dropped his head into [her] girlfriend’s lap and crotch area and bit her thumb so forcefully that she screamed in acute pain.”
The legal filing also claims Nacua used problematic language during the dinner when he allegedly yelled “f–k all the Jews.”
Nacua’s lawyer, Levi McCathern, acknowledged the bite mark in the filing, characterizing Nacua’s alleged behavior as “horseplay.”
McCarthen then turned his attention to Atiabi, accusing her of telling Nacua’s team that she would “contact TMZ and other press and media outlets and to disseminate false, inaccurate, and/or deliberately exaggerated public statements about the events of December 31, 2025.”
Is Puka Nacua Planning To Counter Sue?

In an updated statement, Nacua’s lawyer said that they were planning to file a defamation lawsuit against the 24-year-old’s accuser.
He later accused Atiabi of “blackmail,” calling it an attempted shakedown.
“The timing of the claimant’s recent legal action — nearly three months after the alleged incident and just says after JSN’s record-breaking contract as a wide receiver — further underscores the complete lack of credibility behind these accusations,” McCarthen added.
Nacua Already Faced Anti-Semitic Claims Before

Nacua has been accused of controversial behavior before, according to The Blast. In late 2025, the Rams player was under fire after performing what some called an antisemitic gesture during a livestream with Adin Ross.
“When I appeared the other day on a social media livestream, it was suggested to me to perform a specific movement as part of my next touchdown celebration,” Nacua said online. “At the time, I had no idea this act was antisemitic in nature and perpetuated harmful stereotypes against Jewish people,” he added.
“I do not stand for any form of racism, bigotry, or hate of another group of people,” he continued.
The NFL released its own statement following Nacua’s viral move, saying it “strongly condemns all forms of discrimination and derogatory behavior directed towards any group or individual.”
“The continuing rise of antisemitism must be addressed across the world, and the NFL will continue to stand with our partners in this fight. Hatred has no place in our sport or society,” the statement finished.
NFL Player Arrested And Charged With Three Felonies

In other NFL news, Atlanta Falcons rookie James Pearce Jr. was recently accused of domestic violence by his ex-girlfriend, WNBA star Rickea Jackson.
According to The Blast, Pearce Jr. was arrested in early 2026 after allegedly ramming his vehicle into Jackson’s on a Miami roadway.
After arriving at the police station, Pearce Jr. was arrested and charged with felony aggravated battery with a deadly weapon, felony fleeing and eluding police, and felony resisting an officer with violence.
In a police report, Jackson accused Pearce Jr. of “obsessive, insecure, and aggressive behavior” before sharing even more horrifying allegations.
“James has threatened to kill me, James has threatened to harm me, James has threatened to injure me, James has threatened to place a bag over my head, and James has verbally and physically abused me,” she wrote.
Pearce Jr. has not spoken about the case publicly; however, his attorneys, Joshua Cohen, Jacob Nunez and Yale Sanford, said the Falcons player “maintains his innocence and urges the public to understand that while allegations have the power to shape a narrative, that it is hardly the full, complete story.”
