Dylan Efron didn’t just post a selfie; he dropped a full-blown thirst trap, and the internet immediately double-tapped. A fan account reshared the steamy snap, writing, “DYLAN EFRON SETS INSTAGRAM ABLAZE WITH SHIRTLESS SNAPS!” and fans clearly agreed.
Fire emojis flooded in almost instantly, while one fan boldly admitted, “I like Dylan more than Zac now,” putting him head-to-head with his famous brother.
Efron Gets Real About Protein Bars
Efron also had fans laughing during a recent interview when he was asked the very important question: ” How many protein bars is too many? “It depends on the protein bar, because you’re gonna get gas if you eat too many of some,” he joked to Interview Magazine.
He went on to share a hilarious travel moment that totally changed his perspective. “I was rock climbing in Croatia, and after a couple of hours, my stomach’s growling,” he recalled. “And they’re like, ‘Is everybody hungry?’ I think they’re gonna bring out protein bars, but they brought out a Costco-sized jar of olives, and we all just reached our hands in and ate until we filled up.”
Dylan Efron Opens Up About His Toughest Climb
Efron also got candid about pushing his limits when it comes to rock climbing, revealing one challenge that truly tested him. “Probably during COVID,” he said when asked about his hardest climb. “I was going to Malibu Canyon Creek two to four times a week, and me and my buddy were trying this 5.11a.”
With climbing gyms shut down, the outdoor route became more than just a workout; it turned into a full-on mission. “Climbing gyms were closed, so it was my project. I probably tried it 100 times,” he added.
And while it didn’t come easy, that’s exactly why it means so much to him. “That’s the one I’m most proud of.”
Efron Reveals When He Decided To Get ‘Jacked’
Efron also opened up about his fitness journey, revealing his transformation didn’t happen overnight, and definitely didn’t start in high school. “It was college,” he told GQ Magazine. “In high school, soccer was my sport, but I prided myself on being good at every sport. I was just too tall and lanky, so I was kind of one year behind for high school sports.”
That all changed once he hit college. “I think I went to college at 160 [pounds], 6’1″. After one year of college, I hit 200 pounds,” he added, marking a major turning point in his journey to building the physique fans are obsessing over today.
Dylan Efron Breaks Down His Go-To Diet
Efron also gave fans a peek into his daily eating habits, and it’s not your typical strict routine. “Breakfast is not essential for me,” he admitted. “I’m big on caffeine, so I have my coffees. If I wake up starving, I will eat. It’s just one of those things.”
When he does eat in the morning, he keeps it pretty clean and balanced. “I would say my go-to breakfast would be avocado toast, just because I don’t eat that much carbs,” Efron continued. “I’m not eating bread all the time. But in the morning, it’s great with the avocado, it cuts that glycemic index boost that you get from eating bread.”
From there, he mixes it up depending on the day. “I like to do butter and avocado on sourdough with eggs, or just do eggs, or a protein shake, or a smoothie with spinach, frozen berries, and protein powder,” he explained.
Still, he’s not rushing to eat first thing. “But it’s not essential,” he admitted. “I’ll normally wait till about 10 to eat breakfast.”
