Nancy Guthrie’s daughter, Savannah, is not alone as the search for her mother nears its third month.

According to sources, her colleagues at NBC News have rallied around her to help bring answers to Nancy’s disappearance and secure her safe return.

“This is not just a story to them — this is family,” one source told Rob Shuter’s #ShutterScoop. “Every top reporter, every legal mind, every law enforcement contact they have is being used.”

To further demonstrate how serious the network is about supporting Savannah, NBC News has reportedly brought in its top investigative teams, including producers from Dateline NBC, known for their in-depth reporting and storytelling.

Part of the network’s strategy to keep attention on Nancy’s kidnapping includes the potential release of a primetime special.

This could feature details already made public by the police, information about any reward being offered, and other key aspects of the case.

“There’s active talk of a primetime special,” an insider claimed. “They want to keep this in the national spotlight until there are answers.”

Furthermore, the network is reportedly looking to involve high-profile individuals to raise awareness and generate funds to support further investigation into the case.

Jimmy Fallon, host of “The Tonight Show,” is already being considered to lead any such initiative if it moves forward.

“There are even discussions about a major New York City benefit concert,” the insider added. “Big names, big awareness — possibly hosted by Jimmy Fallon.”

Following her mother’s kidnapping, Savannah took a break from her role on the “Today Show” to focus on the case.

Her position has been temporarily filled by Hoda Kotb, who has repeatedly shown public support for her colleague as she navigates this difficult time.

Still, questions remain about when Savannah will return, with some insiders claiming it could be as early as next month. While no official date has been confirmed, it is believed the TV anchor is eager to return despite her distress, but for now, she remains focused on the situation at hand.

“She wants to come back,” an insider noted about Savannah. “But right now, her focus is her family — and finding her mom.”
