Although Gypsy Rose Blanchard is ready to poke fun at her experience, it seems it’s too early for some fans.

The media personality revisits the death of her mother during a viral social media challenge and how she went to prison for nearly a decade, which is now earning her significant knocks from fans.

Gypsy Rose Blanchard was released on parole in December 2023 after serving nearly 90% of her 10-year sentence for her role in the death of Claudine Blanchard, which she planned alongside her then-boyfriend, Nicholas Godejohn.

The author joined fellow influencer Natalie Reynolds for a “We Listen, and We Don’t Judge” session on Instagram, where she made a few confessions, like wearing wigs due to the effect of bleach on her hair, to cleaning with bath towels instead of toilet paper during her stay in prison.

The most shocking one came first, which was that she went to prison for eight-and-a-half years because she killed her own mother. Natalie pretended to be surprised by her admission, to which Gypsy Rose replied, “Hey, we listen, and we don’t judge!”

Social media users swarmed to the comment section to express their displeasure about Gypsy Rose’s statement, which seemed like she was not feeling any remorse for her actions. One commenter did not bother sugarcoating the issue, as they wrote:

“This is actually disturbing. There is something seriously mentally wrong with both.”

Another commenter noted that the video may even spell more doom for Gypsy Rose’s already dark record. “Post the crime scene photos for a real laugh. Her mom might have been awful, but it’s not funny, and I do judge,” this Instagram user declared. This commenter assured Gypsy Rose of a very dangerous outcome for her in the afterlife for making light of her mother’s tragic death.

The Media Personality Reflected On Her Tumultuous Relationship With Claudine Blanchard

Last June, Gypsy Rose informed her fans that it had been 10 years since her mother died after she subjected her to a life of abuse, pain, and ill treatment, which left her with years of trauma to unpack. The Blast stated that she admitted that she and the late Claudine have both lost years and things they will never get back.

Gypsy Rose continued that she would never pretend her mother was a good person because of all the pain she had to endure with her. The media personality added that she would not tag herself a perfect human despite her status as a victim, but she is beyond ready to start a new life with her daughter, Aurora.

“I may carry the past, but she carries my future. And I pray that who she becomes will be greater than who I was, and greater than the woman who came before me,” Gypsy Rose wrote. She stated that the birth of her daughter gives her an opportunity to raise someone with everything she missed out on as a child, namely love, truth, and freedom.

Gypsy Rose Blanchard Thinks Her Late Mother Would Want Her To Move On Finally

In her 2024 memoir, Gypsy Rose declared that she strongly believes her mother would want to forgive her for her actions because of the coincidence between the date of Aurora’s first sonogram and the celebration of Claudine’s 10th death anniversary.

In the memoir titled “My Time To Stand,” she stressed that Claudine was probably sending a message through her daughter, a message about moving on and finding forgiveness. She dove deeper into the pleasant coincidence in her life and how her journey to prison, including her freedom, has all culminated into the fact that both of them can finally be released from their “purgatories.”

The relationship between Claudine and Gypsy Rose was marked by extreme episodes of medical abuse. The late Claudine reportedly convinced her daughter and the public that Gypsy Rose suffered from several illnesses, such as leukemia, brain damage, and even asthma.

The 34-Year-Old Chose The Natural Route Recently

Gypsy Rose debuted a new look with her hair earlier in the year, which was a departure from her signature long hair achieved with high-quality wigs. The Blast reported that the switch earned admiration from fans who urged her to wear her natural hair more often and move around without makeup as much as she can.

The TV personality has previously explained why she preferred to wear wigs after her hair suffered damage from years of bleaching, forcing her to cut it off and start all over again.

She confessed to her followers that she was not ready to fully embrace her short hair just yet because she was waiting for the length to extend, which means wigs would continue to be a constant in her wardrobe. Gypsy Rose equally experienced a traumatic episode in her past where her mother completely shaved her hair under the guise that she was battling cancer.

The new year came with loads of new heights for the mother-of-one who dropped incredible amounts of pounds on the scale. She hopped on Instagram earlier in March for a brief session with her fans, showing off her 108.2lbs and informing the fans how they can also achieve that number.

According to her, losing weight happened almost naturally due to the spontaneous change in her lifestyle after her return from prison. She noted that her diet changed from consuming mostly junk foods to home-cooked meals, and also trying new dishes.

She clarified that the drop in her weight did not come from a workout regimen nor from any weight-loss drug. Gypsy Rose stressed that it all happened on its own, and her body found its way to adjust to her newfound life.
