Scenes from the musician’s arrest video have proven that the law enforcement agent had no idea who the singer was at the time he was subjected to the field sobriety test, nor did they have any knowledge about his tour.
Justin Timberlake was arrested for driving while intoxicated (DWI) on June 18, 2024, in Sag Harbor, New York City, after he allegedly ran a stop sign and failed to maintain his lane.

The Blast shared in 2024 that the Office of the Suffolk County District Attorney denied its public records request to access the footage. As now seen, the video shows the timeline of the events before and during the singer’s arrest in the Hamptons.
Suffolk County District Attorney Ray Tierney insisted at the time that no preferential treatment was given in the case, as consistency was important to maintain the reputation of everyone involved. As the court session went on, Timberlake told the judge he reflected on his actions and agreed they did not meet the standards expected of him. He also agreed that he should have made better decisions and promised the court he would not be back for the same offense, as the judge accepted his plea deal.

He reportedly confided in some of his friends about this struggle, confessing to them that being on the road without booze has gotten so boring. To distract himself from falling back into the abyss of old habits, the singer reportedly found solace in the walls of the gym, where he sweats out his temptations.
The games on his computer also come in handy when he is feeling restless, as the fine selection helps him zone out. “As far as vices go, they’re all gone, and, as anyone knows, it can be a big adjustment period. But he’s promised his wife to clean up his act, and he’s sticking to it, no matter how tough it gets,” the source concluded.

The actress also attended his Madison Square Garden performance after the arrest and reportedly had a great time at the show, appearing to have moved on from the arrest to focus on family time. However, she was initially unhappy about the incident as she is not a fan of negative attention on her family.
