Erika Kirk has taken steps to curb a wave of conspiracy theories against her by issuing a cease-and-desist order to one of the sources.

The mother of two, through her legal representative, Paul Edgard Harold of SouthBank Legal, sent the legal notice to Collin Scott Campbell, the man behind Project Constitution.

Campbell has previously accused Erika Kirk of being involved in her husband’s death and has also promoted conspiracy theories linking the TPUSA CEO to the late convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein.

Erika Kirk appears to be pushing back against her detractors by issuing a series of cease-and-desist orders.

The latest was sent to Collin Scott Campbell of Project Constitution, who had made several accusations against the mother of two in a series of posts, including claims that she was involved in the death of her husband, Charlie Kirk.

In the cease-and-desist letter, Erika’s legal representative, Paul Edgard Harold, described Campbell’s claims as “false and defamatory,” adding that they have caused “tremendous damage” to the TPUSA CEO and her late husband’s nonprofit,  and in some instances have led to some of the staffers being threatened with violence.

“Mrs. Kirk and TPUSA welcome vigorous and open debate and honest questions,” read a part of the legal threat, per The Hollywood Reporter. “However, there is no place for publicly repeating patently false statements that injure another person’s reputation.”

Campbell’s belief that Erika was involved in her husband’s death was evident in a series of posts he made on X.

In one post dated December 21, 2025, he claimed that he and his team were close to “nailing her ass to the wall,” while in a reply earlier this month, he outright stated that she participated in Charlie’s murder.

In another comment responding to a post by Laura Loomer, who has also made conspiracy claims about Erika, Campbell alleged there was “overwhelming evidence” linking the mother of two to her husband’s death.

Responding to these allegations, Erika’s legal representative firmly stated that the former beauty queen “had nothing to do with her husband’s death.”

“Any statement to the contrary is absolutely false and made with actual malice,” the letter further remarked.

Elsewhere in the cease-and-desist letter, it was also pointed out that Campbell had “repeatedly alleged” that Erika was an associate of the late Jeffrey Epstein.

However, the letter described such claims as “absolutely false” and made with a “reckless disregard for the truth.”

Some of the specific comments Campbell made linking the mother of two to the late convicted sex offender included a claim that TPUSA “directly partnered with the specific orphanage” allegedly used to traffic underage girls.

But this and several other claims were shut down as defamatory in Erika and TPUSA’s cease-and-desist letter.

The conspiracy theorist, Campbell, was called out for claiming that Erika was the voice in a “leaked DOJ wiretap audio,” in which a woman could allegedly be heard scheduling underage girls for Epstein.

According to the cease-and-desist letter, Erika was still a high school student at the time of the recording and could not have been the person in the audio.

It also noted that several reports had already clarified that the TPUSA CEO was not the individual heard in the clip.

Despite this, Campbell allegedly delayed retracting the claim and, when he did respond, doubled down on his accusation by continuing to label the widow a child sex trafficker.

Campbell is one of three individuals Erika has sent cease-and-desist letters to over conspiracy theories made against her, a list that also includes video podcaster Zach De Gregorio and her late husband’s ally, Candace Owens.

Both Gregorio and Owens have indicated that they do not intend to comply with the demands of the notice, a stance Campbell appears to share, as he stated in a response that his comments were protected under his First Amendment rights.

For now, it remains unclear whether Erika will take further legal action against the trio, though it does not seem to be her immediate goal.

The letter sent by her legal representative to Campbell indicates that she and her late husband’s nonprofit do not “desire litigation,” but instead want the defamatory posts removed and the “damage and harassment” to stop.
