The former TV star came clean about undergoing a major cosmetic procedure but registered her displeasure about Aaron Phypers‘ alleged decision to get malicious with the reveal.
Denise Richards has embarked on a complete overhaul of her physical looks since last year as part of her grand mission to take back control of her image in the middle of her messy divorce.

In her interview with Allure’s Elizabeth Siegel, Richards shared that she had a complete facelift eight months ago and has been healing for a while until her ex-husband decided to be petty by leaking the news to the press. Richards noted:
“He had a photographer show up outside an appointment where I had some microneedling on my scars. So [my ex] told someone that I had a facelift, and said it was botched, which is really ridiculous.”
She revealed that she had gone back and forth about telling the press about the procedure, but her ex just had to let the cat out of the bag. The reality TV alum debated that she could have really gotten away with her little secret, but on the brighter side, she looked really good after the procedure that her secret could have blown open anyway.

Richards admitted that she wanted things to pick up a semblance of how her face looked before, which was why she waited for such a long time to tell her story. She stated that she was terrified due to being in the public eye since she turned 20, and people literally know what she looks like, so it would be hard to hide plastic surgery from them.
However, this was not the TV star’s first rodeo at the cosmetic surgeon’s table because, as early as 19 years old, she splurged on a boob job. As for her face, Richards stated that it was her first time doing any cosmetic surgery, and the results have left her shocked (the good kind.)
Since having the facelift, Richards observed that some of her celebrity friends have become comfortable confiding in her about some of their own procedures. While she would not blow their covers, the reality star concluded that it felt great to know that serums, exercise, and lasers are not just the secrets to her colleagues’ impeccable skin and features.

She was filled with gratitude to her doctor and her pal, Camille Grammer, for introducing them and, in turn, joining forces to make her feel like herself once again. Richards documented her recovery from the process online and raved about her expectations for bikini season, which she is prepared to enter with a fresh burst of confidence.
The reality star noted that it felt so good for her to finally be open about living with implants and share her experiences alongside Grammer. Richards was also praised by fans for her openness and honesty, congratulating her for the success of her surgery.

Denise Richards’ Estranged Husband Won Big In Their Ongoing Legal Tussle
In February, Richards was ordered to pay her husband, turned nemesis, a whopping $5,000 monthly in temporary spousal support, which would begin in March and must be paid on the fifth day of each month until the court orders otherwise. The actress was also ordered to pay $30,000 in related expenses, which includes $25,000 to Phypers’ legal fees and another $5,000 payment for a forensic accountant.
The payment plan would run from March through May in rounds of $10,000. Phypers, a frequency medicine expert, had requested spousal support when he filed for divorce from Richards last July, and he reiterated his wish to receive the financial support due to his current standing.
He had claimed in court that he did not have a steady flow of income due to his business operation and infrastructure, which was disrupted in 2024. Phypers also insisted that he is entitled to temporary spousal support to help him maintain a state of financial fairness during litigation.
