Bethenny Frankel has suffered yet another beauty hack fail, and this time it’s got her bleeding.

The media personality shared an update with her fans in real-time as she explained how the mishap occurred. Appearing shaken by the incident, she questions her confidence in highly promoted beauty products.

Bethenny Frankel is no stranger to beauty product fails, as she has shared reviews on different products and has openly advised against the use of excessive makeup. She also recently suffered a facial infection while she was on holiday with her daughter and friends at St. Barths.

Bethenny Frankel Left With Facial Cuts After Trying Viral Beauty Product

Frankel shared a video on Instagram where she wiped blood off the side of her face. She explained while wiping her face with a facial wipe, showing the camera the extent of the bleeding she sustained from trying a small device she saw online for contouring her face.

“You guys, oh my God! I am actually freaking out. I just sliced my face open with this thing that i saw,” Frankel said as she showed the beauty hack device she purchased. “I just used this thing that i saw online for contouring your face, and i looked at my face, and it was bleeding,” she added. The 55-year-old continued saying, “It’s glass, and i guess the suction cut my face, what happens with me??!. It doesn’t hurt. Why isn’t it hurting?”

The media personality showed the broken glass top, which seemingly cut through her skin as she spoke, amid some incomplete sentences. On the video, which she captioned “This is just ?????? #wtf,” she wrote, “The minute after ….” implying that the cut on her face occurred about a minute after she started using the contour product.

The Media Personality Sought Fans Help To Stop The Bleeding

The comments in her first video had fans asking for the details of the product she used, so as to take precautions to stay away from the brand. “You need to post this product’s name and manufacturer so this is removed ASAP – this kind of crap is all over Instagram and is JUNK,” a comment read. Frankel then uploaded a second video where she held up the box of the beauty device.

She disclosed that she was led to buy the face contour from a brand she named “Nurse Jamie,” which was boldly written on the box she held up. Frankel explained once again how the incident occurred while she was using the product on her face, while wiping the blood off her cheek. Frankel’s next statement was from deep concern for the bleeding to stop, as she had wiped a considerable amount of blood, evidently from the cleaning wipe she held.

Fans warned her not to use Neosporin as she suggested during the video; she wanted to put some on to help with the bleeding. Many advised the entertainer to go to urgent care, as she might have some glass shards still left under her skin. “Keep it clean, do not put Neosporin on it,” a user wrote. “Never put Neosporin on anything. Vaseline and cover it,” another added. Others suggested that she sue the company, stating that the products were probably already broken before they were sold out.

Frankel shared earlier this year that she got hit with an infection while she was on a trip with her friends and daughter at St. Barths. The TV personality disclosed that because of the facial issue, her trip was inevitably shortened.

While sharing the news of the infection, the TV star let fans in on the potential cause, naming hotel towels as the primary carrier of many bacterial infections. The Blast reported that Frankel explained that bacteria easily breed on towels and sheets, especially when they are not thoroughly cleaned immediately after use.

The “Real Housewives of New York City” alum started it was her daughter, Bryn, who recognised the infection from the rash. Bryn had previously suffered the same infection, so when it happened to her mother, the teenager called it out. The reality TV star then stressed that she will never use a hotel towel or sheet in her life, indicating that the experience had left a lasting effect on her.

The Bravo Alum Suffers From Chronic Kidney Disease

Frankel opened up, sharing the details of her health and warning fans against some unhealthy habits that turn back to bite one in the back. The star disclosed that her kidney disease is now at Stage 3A, which means it is in the middle of the kidney function loss spectrum.

At the points she is with her health, she says that her doctors assured her that no medication is required; instead, she should increase her fluid intake. The Blast reported that the reality star’s doctors also found a nodule on her liver in a sonogram, and Frankel would have to undergo more tests. The TV star then shared vital information she received from her doctors about the consumption of highly publicized herbs.

They warned that the side effects on the kidneys left by some of these herbs could be harmful. “He said Moringa and Turmeric, yes, are not good for the kidney in a one-size-fits-all model, but all of the other supplements everyone is being pushed and sold affect people differently,” she explained.

Frankel and her former attorney have been butting heads as she accused him of malpractice. The TV star sued her ex-lawyer, Jamie Schreck, in 2017, claiming that he failed ti draft documents related to her trust properly. As a result of the alleged malpractice, the mom of one claims that problems arose during her divorce from  Jason Hoppy in 2012.

As shared to The Blast, Schreck filed new documents recently in court, which claim that his former client was to blame for their legal issues because she refused to be deposed. He also called her out, stating that she  “abandoned” the case by “failing to prosecute or do anything on it for nearly four years.”

Schrek offered a $25,000 counter settlement to Frankel’s $2 million suit, an amount the media personality allegedly refused to respond to as well. Notably, the former attorney maintains that he has no hand in the malpractice allegations Frankel sued him for.
