Julie Chrisley and Todd Chrisley are tooting their own horns when it comes to raising their little girl.
The couple got candid about the techniques they use to parent their daughter, Chloe, the values they have instilled in her over the years, and how much love they have for her.
Julie and Todd Chrisley officially adopted Chloe in 2023, shortly before they were sent to jail to serve their sentences, after raising her since 2016.
Julie And Todd Chrisley Shed Light On Placing Emphasis On Faith In Chloe’s Life

The couple, who got back from jail after a presidential pardon last year, explained on their “Chrisley Confessions” podcast that they teach Chloe about God, family, being kind, generous, and considerate.
Julie and Todd emphasized that they teach her about the things of faith, and that the way they are bringing up their little one “is working.” Todd affirmed that the reports they get about their daughter at school confirm that their methods are working.
“Look at how they talk about her at school. Look at how people say that she’s not for conflict, that she tries to tone that down, that she’s the one they come and pull out of class because she’s the new friend when someone comes into the school new,” he noted.
Todd added on the podcast that everyone talks about how kind and considerate she is, stressing that it further confirms how well they are doing. Chloe is Todd’s grandchild from Kyle, his child from his first marriage.
The Couple Revealed How They Handled A Discussion About Race With Chloe
Todd and Julie continued on the podcast that they have also gotten a few pieces of feedback from Black women questioning how much Chloe knows about her race, and technically blaming it on her parents.
Todd added that he had a conversation with Chloe about the comments, asking how she felt about them and what had made her feel they were doing enough or otherwise. The media personality shared that his daughter said she does not live her life to please everyone else and is concerned about her family’s and her own well-being.
She has also absorbed her parents’ teachings about living in the way God has commanded, which is exactly what she is doing. The couple continued by saying they are far from perfect parents, but they carry so much unconditional love for Chloe and will never do anything to harm her, despite not being her biological parents.
Inside Julie And Todd Chrisley’s Family Life

The couple is proud parents to five children, including Kyle and Lindsie Chrisley, whom he shared with his first wife, Teresa Terry. He then welcomed three more kids with Julie, including Chase, Savannah, and Grayson Chrisley.
As shared by PEOPLE, Todd welcomed Lindsie in 1989 in South Carolina and was somehow involved in Julie and Todd’s tax fraud scandal. She was accused of being a catalyst for the investigation, citing various negative stories she has been spreading about the family in the media.
Kyle was born in 1991 and appeared in the first season of “Chrisley Knows Best,” although he later became estranged from his father. He, however, broke his silence after Todd and Julie were indicted for tax evasion by showing support for his father and clarifying that he had lied about Todd’s financial situation in the past due to addiction.
Chase is Todd and Julie’s oldest child, born five years after Kyle, and has made appearances on the family’s reality TV shows. He was arrested last January on a charge of simple battery in Atlanta after he allegedly slapped the manager of a bar twice during a drunken night at the facility.
The couple welcomed Savannah in 1997, who played a major role in securing her parents’ release from jail by appealing to several authorities to intervene. She also stepped into a temporary parenting position for her younger siblings while battling the episodes of her parents’ incarceration.
Grayson is the family’s last child, born in 2006. The 19-year-old, who was sent off to college last year, was reportedly greatly affected by his parents’ incarceration. Days before Todd and Julie’s sentencing in 2022, Grayson was involved in a nasty car accident when he rammed into the back of a stopped vehicle.
Kyle Chrisley Was Arrested For Domestic Assault Last Year

The 34-year-old was taken into custody by the cops last year on multiple charges, including an assault, after his wife called the cops for help, claiming that he was being belligerent while she followed him in a car as he walked off in the middle of a street.
As shared by The Blast, the officers who arrived at the scene claimed Kyle was not willing to talk to them; instead, he charged at deputies aggressively and began to throw punches while assaulting these officers.
In the affidavit from Kyle’s arrest, his wife had told dispatchers that he was making suicidal and homicidal threats during dinner. He reportedly picked up a fork and pointed it at her while issuing disturbing threats at his wife, and things got worse when they got home, making her feel concerned that he would assault her.
Kyle’s violent outburst was reportedly further fueled by the alcohol he had consumed earlier at the restaurant, and he was reportedly still under the influence when officers arrived at the scene.
Julie And Todd Chrisley Weighed In On His Tense Situation With Lindsie Chrisley

Last October, Todd shared his mind on the state of his relationship with Lindsie alongside his wife and his son, Chase, on their podcast. As reported by The Blast, Lindsie was working with an attorney on a podcast to basically spill the same story she has always spun.
He added that Lindsie has repeatedly said the same thing about their story in different ways, and it has gotten to the point where he no longer wants to be part of the drama. The family patriarch added that Lindsie should also take the decision to remove Chrisley from her last name seriously. In his words:
“My thing is you’ve gone on your podcast, you’ve gone on your social media, you’ve said that you changed your last name because Chrisley had hurt you with brand deals. If you’re going to change your last name, take our last name off your social media.”
Julie also shared her thoughts, stressing that she has no interest in the pot Lindsie was trying to stir, as she has always extended a hand of love to her step-daughter, even adopting her at her request when she turned 18.
