By the time Max turned 8, he already had a long list of amazing accomplishments. Shortly after he finished up his experience at New York Fashion Week, he was named the youngest runway fashion designer by Guinness World Records.

In a previous interview, Sherri told The Blast that Max’s family has supported his efforts every step of the way since they realized he has a serious desire to be a fashion designer.

“We got him sewing lessons and try to help however we can to support his dreams,” Sherri told The Blast. “He wanted a show after six months of designing, so we hosted one in our backyard. He needed more space to work so we converted an attic space to a sewing studio. We try to be creative with solutions that are reasonable.”

Sherri also shared that while the family is really proud of all Max’s accomplishments, one specific thing stands out.

“The thing that makes us the most proud is that Max truly designs to make other people happy,” she said. “He has to charge for his designs in order to pay for his materials, but he donates a large majority of any profit to various charities. His first thought when he sells a dress is always, ‘Now I can help!’ He is a good human and it’s amazing to watch his story unfold.”

At the young age of 7, Max told PEOPLE that he believes he was Gucci in a past life. He doubled down on it by saying, “I actually was.”

Sherri captioned an Instagram post from years ago with more information about Max saying he was Gucci in a past life.

“One day, I just decided to ask him. I realize this is very controversial and there are a lot of opinions on it! I’m not entirely sure where I stand to be honest. However, we do make a point to make sure Max realizes his hard work, determination and talent are why he is able to be so successful,” the caption begins. “He’s 7. It doesn’t really matter to me if he thinks he was Superman. That being said, after googling Guccio Gucci, his answers were about 90% accurate.”

It appears that the sky’s the limit for the young fashion designer and there’s no telling what amazing project he’s going to debut next. You can follow Max’s journey on Instagram.
