Channing Tatum is seemingly healing fine from his shoulder surgery.

The actor updated his fans with a situation report on the state of his shoulder weeks after going in for surgery, after he suffered an injury on the set of a major movie project.

Channing Tatum has held a reputation on Hollywood sets for performing his own stunts, and his set injury has caused him to be sidelined during shooting for "Avengers: Doomsday."

The actor shared an up-close image of the scar on his shoulder, which appeared to be healing very well. In the caption, the star wrote:

"Not gone lie it's my fault for not asking. I thought it was gonna be two little holes. Apparently not the case. Hehehe. Well, it doesn't matter anyhow, I like scars anyway, and it's feeling stronger day by day, so thank you, doc."

He added a joke that he does not like going through airport security wondering if his shoulder is going to shut off the machine, and now he will not have to worry about that with his new surgery.

The Actor Previously Shared Pictures From His Shoulder Surgery

Tatum has kept his fans in the loop of his surgery since he was wheeled in for the procedure. The Blast noted that in February, he shared pictures from his operating room, informing fans that even though it was a challenge for him, he would overcome this phase.

In the follow-up information from his Instagram story, he noted that the X-ray result came back with the information that the bones in his shoulder had separated. A second photo also showed a screw holding the bones in place as Tatum sarcastically referred to it as a "screwed shoulder."

Tatum's industry colleagues flocked to the comments section with words of encouragement for the actor. Author Danielle Claudio told the actor to see his injury as an opportunity to finally shut down and rest from all the hassles of set life.

Channing Tatum Revealed How He Got Hurt On The Set Of The 'Avengers' Film

The 45-year-old explained to his fans last September that his injury happened while he was performing stunts for another installation of the franchise. He noted that following the injury, he was forced to give room to his stunt double to do his job while he watched from the sidelines.

The actor got candid that missing out on performing interesting stunts left him heartbroken, and the pain he felt during intensive therapy was nothing compared to the emotional burden of spending the next few months off the heavy tasks.

"It's not about the pain I feel in the moment. It's knowing I can't take this back. And now I know what the next six months of my life will be like. I just hate getting old. In my mind, I'm literally still 30 years old — 26, if I'm honest," the actor emphasized.

Inside The Actor's Injury From Shooting The Last Film From The 'Magic Mike' Series

The Hollywood star is not a stranger when it comes to sustaining injuries, and in 2023, Screen Rant shared that he got injured during the making of "Magic Mike's Last Dance."

Tatum shared that while filming on a water-soaked stage, his dance partner, Kylie Shea, accidentally hit him in the nose with her pelvis, causing him to start bleeding.

He, however, continued with the scene thanks to peak professionalism, earning praise from choreographer Alison Faulk, who expressed that he makes things look easy.

The actor even almost got in trouble for the lap dance his character gave Maxandra in the movie, which required insane acrobatic strength and almost ended in disaster.

Tatum also reportedly performed all the stunts on Magic Mike himself, even though the last sequel received the worst reviews for its "muddled and aimless approach to its story."

Earlier in the year, The Blast stated that Seyfried shared an experience from the set of "Dear John," where they starred together 15 years ago. The actress recalled him peeing on her leg once without her knowing until it was too late.

Describing it as a prank that almost went too far, Seyfried revealed that a bit of the pee got into the coffee cup beside them, and one of the makeup artists nearly fell victim to consuming Tatum's pee.

However, the prank did not get in the way of Seyfried and Tatum enjoying a really good time alongside each other on set. She raved about how much of a great relationship they enjoyed, where they often exchanged humor and made silly memories.

Hopefully, Channing Tatum continues on the positive trajectory of healing!
