More details surrounding Ex-Prince Andrew’s recent arrest have emerged, and the former royal member may be in more trouble than people know.
The former prince was disgracefully arrested after connections were found between him and the late convicted felon, Jeffrey Epstein.
Meanwhile, since Andrew’s arrest, Sarah Ferguson’s future has been thrown into uncertainty. She has also maintained a low profile since the scandal broke.
Ex-Prince Andrew’s Arrest May Indicate Something Serious

Following Andrew’s arrest, former Met Police Chief Superintendent Dal Babu shed some light on the incident during an interview with Sky News’ Gareth Barlow. In a video posted on X, Babu explained that the police don't typically have to arrest someone they’re investigating.
During a typical investigation, they could’ve asked him to provide a statement or invited him to speak with them. As such, detaining Andrew may indicate something more incriminating.
“You don't have to arrest somebody you are investigating... so to actually arrest would suggest there is significant evidence,” he said.
Babu also noted that the arrest allows the police to freely search any properties “owned or controlled” by him. He made it clear that the decision couldn’t have been made lightly, and he could be held for 24 to 96 hours.
As Andrew is being held, he would likely be subjected to interview-style questions, after which he might be released as the investigation progresses.

Babu’s statements followed Andrew’s shocking arrest, which coincided with his 66th birthday. The Blast reported that on Thursday, February 18, the former prince was taken from his residence.
The reason for his arrest was reportedly tied to an exchange of documents between him and Epstein when he was a trade envoy.
In the police statement, the details of the situation were kept vague, as it only noted an arrest of a man in his sixties based on “suspicion of misconduct in public office.”
Searches were also reportedly carried out at different locations in Norfolk and the Royal Lodge in Berkshire.
Sarah Ferguson’s Future Now Stands On Uncertain Grounds

After Andrew was unceremoniously arrested, speculations began to grow concerning the figure of his ex-wife, Sarah Ferguson, with whom he shared the Windsor Estate before they were evicted.
Ferguson, who has been lying low since the scandal broke, is reportedly already on shaky ground in Britain. She reportedly also had ties to Epstein, as she is said to have asked him for money to clear her debts in their email correspondence.
Notably, the last time she was spotted out in public was in September 2025, per The Blast.
She reportedly spent time in the French Alps before heading to the United Arab Emirates, where she spent time with her youngest daughter, Princess Eugenie.
The Scandal Has Reportedly Taken A Toll On Prince Andrew’s Mental Health

Before things took a drastic turn for Andrew, there were concerns about his mental health, as he seemed to have spiraled to a dark place.
According to The Blast, sources close to the disgraced prince noted that he could harm himself amid the pressure coming from the unfortunate scandal.
“He's isolated, humiliated, and emotionally fragile. People are genuinely worried,” a source noted.
Another insider revealed that many described Andrew’s state as “unstable.” Meanwhile, others didn’t buy into the concern surrounding the former prince's mental health. Instead, they said he was fine and was only allegedly feigning instability as a manipulation tactic.
Ex-Prince Andrew's Scandal Caused A Lot Of Negative Attention For The Monarchy

Following the extent of Andrew's association with Epstein, members of the British royal family have since distanced themselves from the former prince.
According to The Blast, Prince William is unhappy with the turn of events, as the controversy has allegedly fueled public mistrust in the monarchy.
“If it were up to Prince William, he would have dealt with the Andrew fallout a long time ago. He is furious with the negative impact on the royal family's standing due to his uncle Andrew's despicable behavior. He has no allegiance to his uncle,” British broadcaster Helena Chard said.
Kinsey Schofield also spoke on the incident, saying that “public anger in Britain” has been on the rise for weeks, so much so that the frustration is now threatening to spill over.
