Tristan Thompson Enjoys ‘Space Jam’ With Rarely Seen Son, Prince

Sometimes fans of basketball player Tristan Thompson forget he has a child other than 3-year-old True Thompson. The dad of two spent time with his oldest child this weekend, son Prince Thompson, 4. The two enjoyed a screening of the new film Space Jam: A New Legacy. The photo was shared on Instagram on Saturday and featured the dad and son snuggled up and anxiously anticipating the start of the film. The highly-anticipated film featured the Boston Celtic’s friend LeBron James taking over the role that made now-retired basketball player Michael Jordan, a favorite among children.

The proud father shared a video of his son as well, “What are you ready to watch?” asked Thompson in the video. The 4-year-old was excited as he pointed to the screen that had the film cued up and ready to watch. “Are you ready? Let’s go! Are you ready?” said the equally enthusiastic dad. He might have been more excited than Prince! The boy’s mother is Thompson’s ex Jordan Craig who was not there to enjoy the film with her son that day.

Thompson has the time to spend with his son now because he is no longer wrapped up in a relationship with his other baby mama Khloe Kardashian. The two officially called it quits about three weeks ago. “He’s a great dad. It was just this natural progression. I’m not saying it’s what I would encourage other people to do, it’s just what naturally happened for him and I,” she said of their brief reunion before calling it quits yet again. The reality star has been through the ringer with the basketball player with multiple allegations of cheating and other women claiming that he has fathered their children.

The former flame recently has been trying hard to get back in Kardashian’s good graces. He has even gone as far as to push away other suitors interested in his baby mama. Lamar Odom got a healthy dose of "no" from the ballplayer when he slid into Kardashian’s comments subtly shooting his shot, calling her a “hottie”. While Thompson respectfully asked him to stay in his lane, this is not the first time, Odom has professed his regret for how the relationship turned out and hopes of a reunion. “In a heartbeat. We'll see if she gets back with me, that's the bigger question,” Odom reportedly stated when asked about a reunion with Kardashian.

Meanwhile, Thompson is being praised by his followers for finally spending "public time" with Prince. The basketball player is often seen doting on his daughter True and regularly shares pictures of the cutie on his social media pages. Prince is rarely seen and it is clear that the relationship he has with Craig is nothing near similar to the one he shares with Kardashian. However, fans have admitted that it is never too late to step up. Followers are hoping that Thompson’s persistence to be a good father will lead to True and Prince finally meeting in the near future.
