The rapper's anti-ICE statement at the kickoff of her "Little Miss Drama Tour" has pricked some fingers at the law enforcement headquarters, and they are fighting back on social media.

The official X handle of the Department of Homeland Security quoted a TMZ headline of Cardi threatening to deal with any ICE agent disrupting her show with a raid.

"As long as she doesn't drug and rob our agents, we'll consider that an improvement over her past behavior," the DHS handler responded as a counter tweet.

Recall that in 2019, the rapper was accused of drugging and robbing men after a 2016 video of her revealing that she would drag men to hotels under the guise of having sex with them just to cart away their valuables surfaced.

Although the rapper later denied the claims in 2019 and insisted her encounters with those men were consensual. She also added that she never drugged anyone but rather searched their pockets while they were drunk.

DHS responses generated thousands of likes, retweets, and comments from X users who were mostly shocked that a government agency could be so savage with their response. This subscriber wrote:

"Cardi B getting owned by the official Homeland Security.gov account is something I didn't expect to see on this fine Thursday, but here we are."

Another commenter urged the agency to stop its display on social media and focus on securing the homeland according to its duty. This X subscriber apparently sided with the DHS, writing: "ICE is probably terrified of a rapper who couldn't even read her teleprompter at the Kamala rally. She's all bark and no bite."

This commenter was beyond stunned to see "the United States government tweeting like a Twitter troll." At the same time, another X account added, "There are pedophiles and abusers in the government, and you're worrying about what rappers have to say? Be serious."

What Did Cardi B Say About ICE At Her Show?

The mother-of-four opened up her show at the Palm Desert, California, with a big bang, addressing a pivotal political situation in the country. As noted by The Blast, Cardi paused midway through the performance of "La Cucaracha" to check on her Mexican and Guatemalan fans in the venue.

The rapper then informed her fans that if any ICE agents walk into the arena with the intention to cause a raid, then it is fine for them to make a physical move on whoever it is.

Cardi noted that she is not joking as well because she came prepared with a bear mace and will not watch any agent mess with her fans.

The rapper's statement came on the heels of her appraisal of Bunny's Grammy speech, where he declared "ICE OUT" as he hopped on the stage to receive the coveted "Album of the Year" award.

Cardi described that as an iconic move that emphasized the strength of the Hispanic and Latino people who are standing against the ongoing ICE activities.

Nearly a year after the 2024 presidential elections, Cardi expressed her displeasure at the direction the administration has taken, which has left some citizens in a difficult place.

As reported by The Blast, Cardi expressed that Trump was never for the poor people and his policies did not reflect likeness for some certain demographics of people.

She mentioned the "Black poors," "the Spanish poors," "the Asians," and "the Indians," as the population he barely cares about. The rapper also addressed Trump's rhetoric about immigrants being responsible for America's downfall.

While she understands his government's decision to strengthen immigration laws in the United States, the rapper stated that his massive deportation process has not helped stop America from going into a recession.

ICE was not the only topic on the 33-year-old’s mind. During her appearances leading up to the Super Bowl, the musician got involved in a briefly awkward encounter with a robot where she fell on her back as she danced on the figure.

The video soon went viral on the internet, racking up millions of views, and the rapper was also forced to address the situation. Cardi hand-picked TMZ’s account, which originally posted the video on X, with a threat to sue them if they did not get rid of the content.

Despite how Cardi felt about the video, some fans could not help but find it very hilarious and almost historic because of how out of the blue the fall was.

The rapper had a packed Super Bowl week where she attended the 2026 Fanatics Super Bowl Party, the ultra-exclusive event hosted by Michael Rubin, founder and CEO of Fanatics. The star was spotted chilling with big names in the league, including Joe Burrow and Tom Brady, at Pier 48 in San Francisco.

Is this the genesis of a social media war between Cardi B and the Department of Homeland Security?
