Complex Market Debuts In L.A. During NBA All-Star Weekend With Kevin Hart, CP3, Melo & More

Basketball fans unite! Basketball’s biggest weekend of the year is getting an exciting new addition.

Complex is turning up the energy during NBA All-Star Weekend in Los Angeles with the launch of Complex Market, a new immersive shopping experience. The curated marketplace brings together vintage sportswear, streetwear, and sneakers, blending culture, fashion, and hoops into one high-impact event. 

Adding to the excitement, Chase Freedom’s Cashback Courts return as part of the activation and will feature interactive basketball experiences and appearances by major names including Chris Paul, Kevin Hart, Carmelo Anthony, and more, making Complex Market a must-stop destination for fans. 

On Saturday, Feb. 14, basketball fans can enjoy some hoops excitement on Chase Freedom’s Cashback Courts. Fans are invited to show up, play, and win alongside a fun lineup of cultural icons and basketball legends. 

At 11:30 a.m., the COAT Competition with Kevin Hart, Jarred Vanderbilt, and Chris Paul will entertain fans. Freedom Cardmembers can earn cashback when donating to the American Heart Association. 

From 2:45 to 4:45 p.m., The ACES Battle of the Platforms, a competitive 3-on-3 round-robin tournament will happen with Smokin’ Aces (Brian Kortovich) & Friends.

Complex Sports recently shared more information about the upcoming Complex Market on their IG page.

"A handpicked lineup of brands taking over our newest event, MARKET for ASW — built for the next-gen sports + fashion crowd. Culture, creativity, and heat all in one place," the caption reads. "Meet us Saturday, Feb 14 in DTLA under the 6th street bridge. RSVP for free in bio."

Some of the brands fans can expect to see include Frankie Collective, Jeff Hamilton, Flight Club, Playa Society, OM New York, and many others.

Taking the vibe back to 2000, “Love & Basketball with Sanaa Lathan & Juju Watkins," an activation that celebrates the Playa Society x Love & Basketball merch collab, includes a one-on-one on court competition, “Love & Basketball” trivia, and more. 

At 6 p.m., Lethal Shooter will host the final fan shooting competition and will crown the Greatest Cashbacker of All Time with a custom designed COAT by fashion designer Jeff Hamilton. 

But the day’s fun won’t end there. NBA legend Carmelo Anthony will be taping his “7PM in Brooklyn with Carmelo Anthony” podcast with media personality Kaz and a special guest.
