Mick Jagger's fiancée has chills running down her spine after her recent alleged attack in London.
Melanie Hamrick shared a now-deleted update on the sad incident, detailing where the incident took place and the help she received at the time, even though she earlier maintained that she wanted her life out of the spotlight.
Mick Jagger's fiancée chose to keep their personal life behind closed curtains largely due to the wagging tongues about the 44-year age gap between them. The pair met in Tokyo, Japan, in February 2014 and started their relationship less than a year later. They have one child together, who was born in 2016.
Mick Jagger's Fiancée Reveals Physical Assault In London

Jagger's fiancée, Melanie Hamrick, shared that she was attacked recently in London outside a club. She posted the update on her Instagram Story, alleging that she was grabbed from behind by two people at the private members club, Annabel's in Mayfair.
In the now-deleted story, Hamrick noted that recalling the incident was difficult for her but that some people, including her friends, stepped in to help her from the attackers.
"This is incredibly hard to share — but I was physically attacked at @annabelsmayfair tonight, I'm so thankful to my friends for protecting me," she wrote.
Hamrick explained further, shedding light on how the attack took place and her emotional state afterwards. "Two people grabbed me from behind, and thank god for good people who stepped in to help me. I'm shaken, sad, and heartbroken that people can treat each other this way," the mom of one added.
The incident has been brought to the notice of the authorities, and the Metropolitan Police have assured that they are channeling resources to curb violence against women and girls, especially at publicly known hotspots in the West End.
Melanie Hamrick's Life Before The Musician

Hamrick lived a simple life revolving around ballet. She was born in Williamsburg, Virginia, and took an interest in dance at a tender age. Her spiked interest in ballet led her to earn a five-year scholarship at the Kirov Academy of Ballet, where she trained with famous ballerinas.
She joined the main ensemble of the American Ballet Theatre in 2004 and has performed many shows, including Apollo, The Nutcracker, and Balanchine's Theme and Variations. Her journey with A.B.T. came to a close over a decade later in 2019, and she announced her retirement via Instagram.
Hamrick shared that having a child changed her life, but she was not her best at dance anymore, so it seemed best to close that chapter of her life. Before Deveraux was born, the 38-year-old said she had very little experience with kids as she had lived "a really simple life."
Reports from PEOPLE show that although Hamrick left the theatre, her love for dance was not lost. Amid the COVID-19 pandemic, she collaborated with A.B.T. principal dancer Christine Shevchenko and choreographer Joanna DeFelice and co-founded the nonprofit production company Live Arts Global.
The mission of the company is to provide a platform to watch performances at no cost. "Our goal is to bring classical ballet to our beloved audiences at no cost and hopefully bring in new fans at the same time," Hamrick previously revealed.
Inside The Power Couple's Love Story

Hamrick met her partner in 2024 while she was performing with the American Ballet Theatre in Tokyo, and Jagger was on tour with The Rolling Stones. They began dating that summer, and their relationship sparked public interest because of the 44-year age gap between them.
The mom of one previously shared that her now-partner's fame did not faze her at the time because her world revolved around ballet. Ballet dancers meet some of the biggest stars and act like, 'Who are you?'"
"Because, to us, ballet dancers are the gods. That's who you study and look up to. You're so in your world," she said in an interview. US Magazine reported that when it comes to raising opinions about their relationship, Hamrick has chosen to let them be brushed aside.
She insists that people will always have their views about others, but as she is happy and is not hurting anyone, she pays no attention to the world's perspective.
The lovers grew to a squad of three in 2016 when their son, Deveraux, was born. She shares major life updates about him on social media, revealing his love for music and dance like his parents. Deveraux is the musician's eighth child and Hamrick's first.
The Couple Kept Their Engagement Private For Years

The retired ballerina confirmed that she and Jagger were engaged last April, but did not specify the date when it happened. She shared that their engagement took place "two or three years ago," showing her intentionality in keeping things private.
"I think family is so personal, and it's a bubble; it's nice to share things, but it's like the ballet: there needs to be a mystery, or people are going to get sick of you," the mom of one said. Hamrick added that they were very happy with their current life and have no intentions of changing anything.
When asked about wedding plans, Hamrick responded, stating that nothing was certain in that axis. They may or may not get married one day, and this response echoed her stance from June 2023. The Blast shared that at the time, she was more focused on living in the moment than tying the knot with Jagger.
Inside Mick Jagger's Plans For His Wealth

The 82-year-old musician previously revealed that his death would hold nothing in store for his eight children. He hinted at his plans to give away his multi-million fortune to charity, saying that his children do not need it to live their lives.
The artist has $500 million from his share of the Rolling Stones' back catalog, which he claims would do good to the world if he gifts everything to charity rather than sharing it among his children. Jagger's decision faced backlash from fans on social media.
The Blast shared that it ignited a debate with many questioning why the singer, as well as many other wealthy people, do not plan to leave money to their children. A fan called the singer out, writing that he was a "helicopter parent" who did not teach his kids to be smart with money.
