Savannah, in an emotional video posted on her social media handle on Wednesday, demanded to know whether her mother was still alive, while acknowledging that the heavy use of artificial intelligence these days may raise doubts on her end.

A day after the anchor's mother was declared missing, officials from the Pima County Sheriff's department held a press conference where Sheriff Chris Nanos sounded the alarm that time was not on their side when it came to finding Nancy.

As noted by The Blast, Nanos shared that due to her limited mobility and how her home was left in disarray, it painted a picture of danger and a need to act very fast.

Nanos, in the press conference, described Nancy as an "84-year-old lady who suffers from physical ailments, has some physical challenges, and is in need of medication." He added that her inability to get access to the drug within 24 hours may mean a greater danger to her overall health.

"So we make a plea to anyone who knows anything about this, who has seen something, heard something, to contact us. Call 911. We don't need another bad, tragic ending. We need some help,' the Sheriff department emphasized.

Nanos continued that after processing the crime scene, the department has concluded that they do have a crime on their hands and stressed the importance of the community's help.

Sources close to the case also confirmed that there was a bit of blood found inside Nancy's home, and it is currently being tested to determine who it belongs to, alongside investigators searching the house for any clues towards her disappearance.

Speaking of clues, law enforcement officers in Arizona claimed that the family confirmed that Nancy left most of her belongings behind,d like her keys, ID, purse, and phone. Her pacemaker also reportedly stopped syncing with her Apple Watch in the early hours of February 1, around 2 a.m. local time.

As The Blast reported, Nancy's family said the scene was strange to them because it suggested their mother did not leave the house voluntarily, as the items she left behind were errand essentials. The NBC star also reportedly shared her mother's view that her mother did not leave the house willingly.

On whether all these permutations arrive at Nancy being physically harmed while she was extracted from the home, law enforcement is reportedly choosing to stay silent. Still, they believe she was taken away from the scene in a car due to her limited mobility.

Despite going through such a hard time, Savannah has remained immensely grateful to everyone for their support and well wishes, and thanked the law enforcement for doing their jobs so diligently so far.

More details emerged about what the 84-year-old was up to before she was declared missing. Nanos revealed that Nancy enjoyed dinner with her family members, including Savannah's sister, Annie.

The intimate family time concluded with a game night, specifically mahjong, which Nancy especially enjoyed, judging by her social media history. Annie then returned her mother to her home in the Catalina Foothills neighborhood in Tucson around 9:30 or 9:45 p.m.

Nanos noted that Annie did not register any concerns about her mother's behavior that night, nor did she exhibit any signs of ill health.

However, her absence at church the following morning was what ticked people off and forced the parishioner to contact the family to report her absence to the authorities.

After that call from the parishioner, her family members rushed to her home and began a search for her, which proved abortive. This led to the deputies' arrival on the scene, who came to assess the extent of the situation and concluded that she had been taken in her sleep.
