Dancer and actress Jenna Dewan says wedding bells may finally be ringing. After being engaged for six years, the dancer is sharing that she and her fiancé, Steve Kazee, are "getting closer" to tying the knot.
While no date is set, Dewan's comments suggest they are steadily moving toward the next chapter in their lives as they balance their family life and busy careers.
Jenna Dewan And Steve Kazee Plan To Get Married This Year

Dewan is spilling the details of the preparations for her upcoming nuptials. At the Borrowed Spotlight exhibition on February 3, the actress talked to People and revealed that she and Kazee plan to have their wedding later this year.
"There's been so many ideas. So many different discussions, and finding the right one at the right time. We're planning on it. We're getting closer," she told the publication.
Despite the long engagement, the mother-of-three says that one perk about waiting to get married is that her three children can be part of the ceremony. "Now we have three to participate. They'll all have very distinct jobs in different parts of the service," she shared.
In December last year, Dewan shared that her eldest child, Everly, whom she shares with ex-husband Channing Tatum, was "very much involved" in planning her wedding, giving her opinions to make sure the ceremony is "fun."

Dewan and Kazee, a singer and actor, began dating in late 2018. According to the "Step Up" actress, she first met Kazee briefly in 2012 during a Broadway show where he was the lead actor. Dewan's mother gushed about him, saying, "He's the cutest, so sensitive, so handsome."
Years later, when they were both single, Kazee sent Dewan a message that read, "Hey, I don't know if you remember me, but how are you?" They began dating shortly after.
In February 2020, Dewan shared the news of their engagement by sharing a social media post of them mid-kiss while holding up her hand to showcase her engagement ring. "A lifetime to love and grow with you... you have my heart," she captioned the post.

She gave birth to their son, Callum Michael Rebel, in March 2020. Kazee shared the news on Instagram, writing, "In an instant our universe burst wide open and nothing would ever be the same. Welcome to earth star child."
In June 2024, the couple welcomed their daughter, Rhiannon Lee Kathryn. "From the moment you arrived, you have brought immense joy and love into our lives... your gentle grace, sweetness, and beauty have captivated our entire family," Dewan and Kazee wrote in a joint post.
Jenna Dewan's Divorce Was Settled In 2024

Dewan and Tatum filed for divorce in the latter part of 2018, and it was finalized a year later, as reported by E! News. However, it took several more years before the finer details of their split were finalized.
The couple went back and forth, arguing over franchise profits and property rights regarding "Magic Mike," the series of movies that Tatum developed during their marriage. Their divorce settlement was finally signed by a judge in September 2024, with both parties waiving spousal support.
As previously reported by The Blast, part of the settlement involved a portion of their retirement funds from the Screen Actors Guild-Producers Pension Plan benefits, which they agreed to split equally.
After the lengthy proceedings, Tatum said that he and his ex-wife were now in a good place. "It was a painful break to have that fall apart, especially being so young," he said.
