Aaron Paul cannot wait to completely cut all ties with Los Angeles and its real estate circle.
The actor has made a substantial financial decision concerning the sale of the home where he once lived, a move that translates to his eagerness to put the Hollywood life behind him.
Big headlines and big decisions have become a trademark for Aaron Paul, from landing his popular TV role, his stellar engagement to the love of his life, their relocation to the city of love, up to making the legal decision to stick to his stage name.
Aaron Paul Goes Big On Home Sale Price Reduction

Paul is not hiding his desperation to be done with the Los Angeles real estate market, as he slashed his home listing price by almost $2 million. He initially listed the mansion at a high value close to $10 million, but then took it off the market in November.
Relisting the mansion, the actor is seeking to sell the three-bedroom abode for $8,195,000, a heavy price slice considering that the initial asking price was $9,995,000.
While the house was left on the market for about four months, there was an initial price drop to $8,995,000 before Paul made his move to pull the listing off the market.
The villa's features measure up to the price; it features 3 bedrooms, 3 and a half bathrooms, an amphitheater, a koi pond, a dining patio in a garden, a pool, a cold plunge, a fire pit, and an outdoor fireplace.
The appreciable $800,000 price reduction for a 4,026-square-foot home, which TMZ reports as one of the most storied estates in Los Angeles, sends a clear message. The iconic actor wants to wash his hands of having to deal with his home from the other end of the world.
Why Did The Actor Leave Los Angeles For Paris?

Paul revealed that he and his family decided to move out of L.A. early last year. They agreed that it was time for a fresh start, and it was the best decision for their two kids, Story and Ryden. Their decision was fueled by the ruinous wildfires that ravaged the city in January that same year.
The "Breaking Bad" alum told The Daily Mail in an interview how the tragic wildfires pushed them to take that leap to flip the pages and begin a new life chapter somewhere else on the globe. "When the fires happened in LA, we knew that we were done with LA, so we sold our house in LA and moved to Paris," he said.
Even though Paul, his home, and his family were not directly affected by the flames, it was still a driving force for significant change. The TV star expressed that he was happy with his decision, not only for himself but also for his wife, Lauren Parsekian, who always dreamt of spending time abroad, and his children.
He added that they have always longed to experience a different culture, and this move just fell into place for them to cross that off their checklist while creating a wonderful experience.
The Emmy Winner Is Not Alone On The Relocation Train

Relocating, be it to a different area, state, country, or continent, is never a simple decision, yet it has been made by numerous entertainers and for several reasons. Some just long for a change of scenery, others do it for their partner, health reasons, or the plain desire for a fresh start.
ENews covered some celebrities who have made the choice to leave everything behind and start over in a different area code.
Ellen DeGeneres, a notable TV sensation, ended her talk show "The Ellen DeGeneres Show" after running for nineteen seasons in 2022. She moved to the Cotswolds with her wife, Portia de Rossi, after announcing in 2024 that she was saying goodbye completely to Hollywood.
Popular actor Richard Gere also jumped on the train in 2024, moving from Chicago to Spain as his wife, Alejandra Silva, is Spanish. Similarly, Christina Milan, married to French singer Matt Pokora, said goodbye to the U.S and moved to Paris with her family.
Back in 2022, "The Parent Trap" star, Lindsay Lohan, also chose to say goodbye to the hustle and tussle of L.A., seeking love and a quiet life. She first moved to London and then Dubai, where she now lives with her husband and son.
A Glimpse Into The 'Breaking Bad' Alum's Relationship And Marriage

Paul and his beau, Parsekian, have known each other for close to two decades. The pair met in 2010 and have never held back on declaring their love for each other in real time or online through cute social media posts.
After dating for a couple of years, Paul got down on one knee, proposing to the love of his life on 2012 New Year's Eve in Paris. Describing the fairytale moment and choice location, the actor said:
"It's just this little courtyard outside of this hotel, and we were just dancing to Édith Piaf by ourselves on New Year's, and then I begged her to marry me."
The proposal and engagement took place in the neighborhood of St. Germain. They tied the knot officially in May 2013 at the Calamigos Ranch in Malibu, California. Speaking with PEOPLE, Parsekian described the wedding as a beautiful and emotional event.
She shared that their first look moment was her life's most perfect visual. Five years later, they welcomed their first child, Story, and in 2022, their son Ryden was born.
Aaron Paul Was Over The Moon When He Became A Dad

Paul revealed shortly after his daughter was born that fatherhood had transformed him, stating that becoming a parent was a magical experience.
He described that phase as the best chapter of his life, expressing his sincere desire to build a family with the love of his life. When he welcomed his son in 2022, Paul went all out on his socials, penning the overwhelming feeling of having a son.
"So happy you are out in this world, you beautiful boy, you. I promise to make you proud, little guy. We have been absorbing this baby boy for the last month and feel it's time to finally share the news of his arrival. We love you endlessly," he wrote.
Another major life decision the actor made was changing his name; his surname was originally Sturtevant until 2022, when he decided to take on Paul as his legal surname.
His wife and kids also legally changed their names to bear Paul as their family name. The Blast shares that he filed for his son, who was a seven-month-old baby at the time, to have a name change from Casper Emerson to Ryden Caspian.
Will the price slash help Aaron Paul boost his home sale?
