Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez have hit a rough patch again with their home sale struggle.
The former couple have taken their marital mansion off the market once again after all attempts to sell it proved futile. So far, all their moves to offset the 12-bedroom home from their list of properties, including reducing the price to millions lower than the initial cost, have yet to yield any positive results.
The decision to put the house up for sale came even before Jennifer Lopez filed for divorce from Ben Affleck in 2024. The ex-couple were married for two years, during which they maintained a blended family.
Ben Affleck & Jennifer Lopez Are Yet To Hit The Jackpot On Marital Home Sale

Affleck and his ex-wife have taken their million-dollar mansion off the market yet again. The estranged couple has been trying to do away with the property for over a year now, and so far, all attempts have come to naught.
After putting it up for $8 million more than their cost price in their first listing, they pulled it off and later reduced the price by a whopping $16 million.
This move raised speculations that the former lovers were willing to do anything, including counting losses, to get the property off their hands finally. Just a few months after the massive price reduction, their listing for the glamorous 12-bedroom, 24-bathroom estate is no longer active on the MLS.
Both Affleck and Lopez are yet to make a statement disclosing neither the actual reason why they took the Beverly Hills villa off the market this time, nor what they are working towards, as photos obtained by The Daily Mail showed large moving trucks in the driveway on Monday.
Inside The Purchase And Failed Sale Attempts Of The Mansion

The ex-lovers bought the luxury 12-bedroom home in 2023, after their nuptials in the previous year. They acquired it at $60 million and still spent some money on renovations, ultimately raising the total value of the estate.
The high-end residence is located in the exclusive Beverly Crest neighbourhood, and this adds to its existing super value. In June 2024, two months before the "On The Floor" singer filed for divorce from Affleck, they had already listed the property for sale.
It was placed on the market at $68 million for over a year before they took it off in July 2025. During that first year, it was reported that they had an interested buyer, but due to unforeseen circumstances, the potential buyer had to pull out of the escrow.
Last year in September, the exes took another shot at a trial to sell the 4600sq ft penthouse, but this time for a reduced price. They listed it at $52 million, leaving it on the market for another four months before pulling it off yet again.
While these listings were active, Lopez had been actively living in the mansion while the new house she got in Calabasas was still under renovation.
The Filmmaker Is Reportedly Willing To Bear The Losses In The Event Of Low Sales Price

Early reports show that the father of three pushed for the purchase of the mansion, while the music icon was not too keen on the aesthetics of the house.
Soon after they moved into the home, he lost his initial flair for the house because he found it too big for just the two of them and too far from his three children, whom he shares with his first wife.
The Blast shared that an insider noted that the actor wants the last thing connecting him and Lopez to be off the table as soon as possible. "Ultimately, he just hopes that they find a buyer soon and does not care that he takes a multi-million dollar cut," they said.
According to previous reports, the initial $8 million price slash was Affleck's idea. He aimed to secure a buyer quickly, even though the mom of two was quite bent on maintaining the price.
The insider also claimed that the Golden Globes Awardee was willing to go the extra mile with the price reduction, if it meant "he can cut the final cord that keeps him, and Jennifer intertwined."
The Former Couple Strive To Maintain A Cordial Relationship

Despite their short-lived marriage, Affleck and Lopez's children have built a strong bond that stands unsevered. The Blast shared how, even while the divorce was still in the works, the estranged couple met up with their kids and enjoyed a fun time together.
Lopez's desire for the kids to be happy trumps whatever rocky ground the divorce put her and her ex-husband through. Their priority is making sure the children's fun relationship continues despite their split.
They determined to show that they are still friends and that through divorces and separations, love can still thrive. Both parties also moved to reduce drama and lengthy legal proceedings with the divorce due to the absence of a signed prenup. They decided to work out their financials amicably.
Affleck and Lopez finalized their divorce settlement in February last year, and the details of their agreement stated that they each walk away with what they individually acquired during the marriage, and neither will pay spousal support.
Ben Affleck And Jennifer Lopez Are Clearly Done

Amid their attempts to put on a happy front for the sake of their children, rumors arose of the possibility of a reunion between the couple. The rumors spread as a result of the PDA shown by the "Good Will Hunting" star towards his ex.
Reportedly, he could not keep his hands off her and showed signs that there was still chemistry between them. Besides the lunch date with the kids, The Blast also shared that the pair went Christmas shopping with Affleck's son, Samuel, last Christmas, and attended the kids' school functions together as well.
However, it has been clarified that the ex-lovbirds are indeed not getting back together. They are both focused on their kids, careers, and healing. They maintain a friendly relationship and support each other's endeavors, but nothing romantic exists between them.
