Brooklyn Beckham's Prenup Takes Center Stage Amid Endless Family Rift

The real source of pain for Victoria and David Beckham, regarding their estranged son, Brooklyn Beckham, has been revealed.

The power couple has expressed strong reservations about a particular legal aspect of Brooklyn and Nicola's marital agreement and how it may work against the photographer.

Victoria and David Beckham are currently dealing with the aftermath of their son, Brooklyn Beckham's, explosive Instagram statement, which painted them as a family who would do anything to uphold a false image.

David and Victoria now have another worry to add to their plate following a revelation that Brooklyn had signed an iron-clad prenuptial agreement before exchanging vows with Nicola in 2022. 

Brooklyn had agreed not to own any part of the Peltz family's wealth if he parted ways with the model. If Brooklyn leaves the model today, he only has the right to claim half of what they have amassed as a brand.

A source close to Victoria and David has since expressed their worries, noting that they feel their son is wholly lost in Nicola's world and has lost touch with the outside. This also means that if he ever leaves Nicola, he will be completely shut out with little cash to show for it.

"It's as if he's being held captive or something, because heartbreakingly, that's what it feels like for them. His future is completely in the hands of the Peltzes," the source explained. 

According to Page Six, Nicola's father is reportedly worth $1.6 billion, compared to the Beckhams, who are only at $673 million.

Several speculations trailed Brooklyn's statement on Instagram, including talks that the media personality is quietly embarking on a mission to shape his public image and tell his own story.

As shared by The Blast, some sources are predicting that he may decide to become an author anytime soon. After all, Brooklyn has retained the services of a literary agent for several years, who has helped deflect publishers who have endlessly tried to make money off the Beckham name.

Though he has rejected opinions to write something about his life in the past, some sources are saying that the growing controversy around his life has now made writing his story a necessity rather than an option.

"This is the first time he's seriously considered telling his side of the story to clear the air. He's sick of others rewriting it for him," the source emphasized.

The photographer's friendship with Prince Harry and Meghan has also taken center stage in the discussions surrounding the possibility that he might decide to spill it all in a book.

Prince Harry reshaped the culture of writing memoirs with "Spare," which sold nearly 500,000 copies in the UK and broke the fastest-selling non-fiction title record in history.

Sources are now saying that Brooklyn may decide to draw inspiration from Harry, seeing how well he sold his books, and also release a project of his own. While this will ensure all rumors are denied and the stories are set straight, it might also set Brooklyn on the path of a financial breakthrough.

His experience with publishing since releasing his debut photography book, "What I See," in 2017, which was published by Penguin Random House, will also help him navigate the business side of things.

Brooklyn broke his silence on Instagram on Monday, January 19, when he emphasized how he was left with no choice but to come out publicly and establish some hard facts in the face of allegedly misleading narratives by the press. 

He accused his parents of repeatedly speaking to the media about him and his marriage, which often leaves him with no choice but to fight back. The Blast noted that Brooklyn clarified that no one is controlling him and has no interest in settling the scores with his family.

"I'm standing up for myself for the first time in my life. For my entire life, my parents have controlled narratives in the press about our family," Brooklyn added, revealing that most of their public images are very curated and built around inauthentic relationships.

He also accused his mother of disappointing Nicola by changing her mind on making her wedding dress at the last minute and also joining forces with David to make him relinquish legal rights to his name ahead of his wedding.

Before his Instagram post, the photographer had established a new communication channel between himself and his parents. He had reportedly told his parents not to attempt contacting him directly and instead do it through a lawyer if the message was so important.

He also wants his parents to desist from making any public statement about him on social media, as reports have filtered around that his wife was controlling him.

The exclusion of David and Victoria from Brooklyn's life follows the photographer's decision to carry on with his vow renewal ceremony in America, with his parents far away in the United Kingdom. 

Nicola and the photographer's event had about 100 to 200 guests in attendance, and their loved ones delivered heartfelt speeches. The wedding ceremony took place very quietly at the Peltz's expansive New York estate without signs of Brooklyn's siblings in attendance.
