Hilary Duff Shares Mind-Blowing Pictures From At-Home Birthing Process!

Hilary Duff is letting fans in on one of the most intimate days of her life, the at-home water birth of her newborn baby daughter.

The 'Lizzie McGuire' star posted the stunning photos on Instagram, which included not only the preparation for the upcoming magical moment-- but the intense minutes leading up to the actual birth! The actress included a lengthy caption where she took the time to thank her husband, children, and mother for supporting her during the momentous day.

"Feeling ready to share some photos of Mae Mae’s birth-day!!! For me to feel safe during birth and get to where I need to go, it’s crucial to have the right support system. The perfect amount of space, counter-pressure, humor, stillness, and people that support my power," Hilary began.

She continued, "My hubby is the calmest anchor in the room when I feel like climbing the walls and my little Molly is an extraordinary doula who sat with me when I needed to be still and quiet. She quite enjoyed the fact that I was sitting on doggy puddle pads as my water had broken hours before." Adding, "My own mama was there to make all the snacks and watch with a big nervous smile as her baby brings her a new grandbaby earthside. The help that I have to support my other children while I am not able is maybe the most comforting thought of all. All hands on deck. Forever lol."

In the stunning photos, you can see that Duff and her husband decided to bring the new baby into the world inside their own bedroom. Hilary can be seen rolling on a ball for support during the process and hanging from a bedpost to stretch her body. In the end, the actress gave birth inside of a blow-up pool that was set up in the room.

"This is hard work…every way a woman brings a baby in is. From getting pregnant to c-sections, hospital or home births, the breastfeeding journey (oy vey that one gets me every time) and raising these little beings responsibly to be stand up, confidant, kind citizens of the world. It’s completely consuming. A tedious, magical, miraculous adventure…So cheers almighty mothers. You make mountains move daily," she concluded.

Hilary gave birth to a healthy baby girl, Mae James Bair, on March 27, 2021.

As we reported, Duff previously shared similar photos from moments after Mae's birth -- which included a precious shot where the entire family is posed with her right after the baby was born. Shockingly, her young daughter is sitting right next to her in the water!
