Britney Spears' Conservator SLAMS Her Father For 'Thinly Veiled' Attempt To Clear His Name

Britney Spears' conservator, Jodi Montgomery, is claiming her father is only asking for an investigation of the conservatorship in an attempt to "clear his name" against the allegations made by his daughter.

According to legal documents, obtained by The Blast, Britney's conservator is going off on her dad claiming the pop star made a "number of serious allegations" against people involved in her conservatorship since 2008, and issues with her treatment since the very start. In the filing, Montgomery highlights that Mr. Spears demanded a "court-ordered investigation" into the allegations -- essentially putting the blame on others involved in the case.

In the docs, she blasted Jamie saying he just wants to "defend himself against his daughter's accusations" and the court "should not take his bait." Shockingly, she called it a "thinly veiled attempt to clear his name."

Either way, she wants to make sure any investigation be put off until Britney gets a new lawyer. As we reported, her lawyer resigned after many years of representing her in the case. BTW, Jodi says she is all for the investigation, making it appear she knows that Britney will most likely finger her father as the culprit. Plus, she points out that an investigator -- for the court -- has been involved in this case several times over the years.

As we reported, Spears shocked the world after making serious allegations against her conservators -- which included forcing her to take birth control and not allowing her to get married to her boyfriend, Sam Asghari. Immediately, both Jodi and Jamie denied the allegations and claimed they were not involved in anything of the sort. Obviously, someone isn't telling the truth.

In the filing, Jodi points out SHE is the one who is setting up an overall plan to get Britney out of the conservatorship.

"To that end, Ms. Montgomery is currently preparing a comprehensive Care Plan with Ms. Spears' medical team that will address all the issues raised by Ms. Spears that relate to her conservatorship of the person under Ms. Montgomery's tenure as her conservator," the document states. Adding, "This comprehensive Care Plan will not just answer any questions about Ms. Montgomery's tenure, but will also offer Ms. Spears a path to ending her conservatorship, as she unequivocally desires."

Bottom line, it seems like the court will get to the source of Britney's issues with this case -- and Montgomery believes the solution is simple, without her father involved, the pop princess is on her way out of the conservatorship. Remember, she previously pointed out that Jamie has spent $2 million dollars of HER money already defending himself in this case, and is solely responsible for her $60 million estate. Everything goes through him, because everything costs money.
