Hilary Duff’s former co-star, Francia Raisa, has entered the conversation surrounding Ashley Tisdale’s mom group drama.

Raisa shared a cryptic post on TikTok, giving her two cents on the recent drama that unfolded in her former co-star’s friend group.

Hilary Duff’s Former Co-Star Weighs In On The Mom Group Drama

Duff’s "How I Met Your Father" co-star, Raisa, shared a video on TikTok, where she was seen sitting in a car and scrolling through her phone. She lip-synced to an audio bit by the character, Viola Hastings, in the popular movie, “She’s the Man.”

“Speaking as a completely objective third-party outsider with absolutely no personal interest in the matter, I am not sure that you and Olivia really mesh well together,” she mouthed. In the accompanying caption, she wrote, "Not a mom but… #fyp #thecut."

For context, the dialogue addresses a scene in the movie where the character, Hastings, urges another character not to pursue her love rival.

As expected, Raisa’s video drew a reaction from fans, who were mostly curious to know whose side she was on. One fan posited the theory that the actress was on Duff’s side because they are close friends. “Sis is good friends with Duff. This is all I needed,” the fan wrote.

“Whatever side Francia is on, then that's where I’m at,” another fan wrote.

The root of the drama can be traced back to when Tisdale bared it all in a personal essay published by The Cut. She shared details about her former friend group, which was a mom group of several high-profile figures.

Tisdale revealed that their friendship boat hit the rocks when she began to notice a few things that suggested she was being intentionally excluded from the activities in the group.

“Another time, at one of the mom's dinner parties, I realized where I sat with her — which was at the end of the table, far from the rest of the women. I was starting to feel frozen out of the group, noticing every way that they seemed to exclude me,” she said, per The Blast.

Although Duff has yet to outrightly address Tisdale’s revealing essay, her husband wasted no time in sticking up for her. He posted a scathing photoshopped picture of his face on Tisdale’s body in the photo she used for the cover of her essay with The Cut.

The caption was a headline mocking Tisdale and indirectly calling her a “self-obsessed” person.

“When You're The Most Self Obsessed Tone Deaf Person On Earth, Other Moms Tend To Shift Focus To Their Actual Toddlers. A Mom Group Tell All Through A Father's Eyes,” it read, as The Blast reported.

He further mockingly directed fans to read his “new interview with @TheCut.”  Some fans reacted to the picture by calling Duff’s husband the type of man to always “put a woman down online.”

Hilary Duff’s Sister Also Weighed In On The Drama

While Duff’s husband supported her, her sister, Haylie, seemed to take sides with Tisdale. While she didn't outright speak on the issue, she liked Tisdale’s joint post with The Cut, as reported by The Blast.

The post’s caption read, “LEAVE YOUR TOXIC FRIENDS BEHIND YOU IN 2026, says @ashleytisdalefrench."

Although Haylie and Hilary starred in the 2006 film "Material Girls" together, there have been reports of a strain in their relationship due to Haylie's alleged support of right-wing ideologies.

Mandy Moore And Hilary Duff Reportedly Insist There Was No ‘Mean Girl’ Behavior

Although Haylie seems to believe Tisdale was in the right, close sources insist there was no negative energy from Duff and Moore.

According to The Blast, Moore and Hilary reportedly felt blindsided by their former friend’s revelation.

“They all feel blindsided and hurt by Ashley speaking out the way she did. From their perspective, they believed the group was supportive and coming from a good place, and they never thought there was any bad intent behind how things played out,” the insider shared.
