Kim Kardashian Bans Influencer From Posting Video With Daughter North

That Girl Lay Lay, who is a 14-year-old rapper, has taken to social media to share that Kim Kardashian asked her to take down pictures and videos of her play day with daughter North West, 8. In a now-deleted post, the rapper called out the social media star, “@kimkardashian texted me to take down the new TikTok video with North in it…I don’t know why…” She went on to further explain that she is hella confused because The mom of four invited her over to interact with her daughter. “They invited ME to their house… this industry SUCKS!”

It looks like the up-and-coming rapper is learning how cutthroat the industry can be, even to a 14-year-old. she added that she reached out to Kardashian and her camp asking why they had her take the video down. “I asked what did I do wrong and they didn’t answer me… so confused on what this industry is… just trying to make good positive music for the #nevergiveup.” No one from the Skims founders camp has responded to the public accusation. This is not the first time that North has been featured in a video with Lay Lay.

Last year the two were hanging out and posted a video that Kardashian was not opposed to. She even called out North by name in her caption. “Hey y’all!! North west and i are hanging out today!!!! check out our tiktok!❤️ follow my tiktok account-litgirllay,” she wrote introducing Northy. That video is actually still up so it is understandable why the rapper would be confused, it's not like North hasn’t already made an appearance. Kardashian herself posts about North and her other children Saint, Chicago, and Psalm regularly on her social media. So it can’t be anything to do with that.

Kardashian is currently undergoing a serious divorce with almost ex-husband Kanye West. The rapper, in the past has mentioned that he does not like his children doing particular things in public. Maybe out of respect for West and his protective nature over his children she just sticks to posting the pictures of their children. Their divorce was announced after West had a hard time last year and took to social media to say negative things not only about Kardashian but about his mother-in-law Kris Jenner as well.

Since the now-deleted post has gone viral, CMO of KKW Brands and friend to Kardashian Tracy Romulus has shared her piece on the drama. She noted that Lay Lay was invited over for a private playdate with North and a few other children and no filming or TikTok was supposed to take place. In fact, all the footage that was filmed was over a year ago and was meant to be for a music video that is yet to come out. North's possible appearance was only because the reality star knows that her daughter is a fan. Romulus also made a note to point out that it was in fact her who called Lay Lay’s father “grown up to grown up” to take the footage down, Kardashian allegedly had nothing to do with it. Mystery solved!
