Jeff Bezos And Lauren Sanchez Roasted Over Appearance At Scantily Clad St. Barts Party: 'Too Old For This'

Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sanchez have come under heavy mockery in the wake of a viral video of them partying in St. Barts.

The newly married couple appeared to be at the location for a vacation and had attended the party to support a friend who was having a celebration.

Online, netizens trolled Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sanchez's behavior at the party as "tacky," while some have also described it as lacking in taste.

Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sanchez faced criticism online after attending a party in St. Barts, where they are vacationing ahead of the New Year.

In a video first shared by Page Six, the couple can be seen watching from their seats as bottle service staff made a lively entrance.

One staff member carried and vigorously shook a large champagne bottle, followed by bikini-clad women holding sparklers, with one even being escorted in by a man on a motorcycle.

As seen in the clip, the spectacle appeared to entertain the couple. Sanchez stood up in her seat to film the moment and was seen moving along to the music while recording. Bezos, meanwhile, remained seated but seemed just as upbeat, as he clapped enthusiastically beside his boo.

Both were casually dressed for the occasion and appeared happy to be at the oceanfront beach club celebrating a friend.

Addressing the couple's behavior at the party, one user stated that it was unbecoming of their age.

"Unpopular opinion. But there does come a point when you're too old for this," said about Bezos, 61, and Sanchez, 56.

Two other users trolled the duo, saying, "I wish taste and money were correlated" and "This legitimately looks awful to me."

A fourth comment took aim at Bezos in particular, mocking his behavior as that of someone who had only recently come into wealth.

"Bezos partying like a dropshipper course seller boy who just made his first 6 figures," the netizen said.

"This feels so... empty and fake. This type of lifestyle display is unfulfilling," another individual said of the party.

"As someone who spent NYE on st barths for 10 years straight, it has been so sad to watch it decline into whatever the fuck this is. Still great every other day of the year though," one more user wrote.

Earlier in the month, Bezos and Sanchez were spotted in Aspen, Colorado, enjoying a shopping date together.

For the outing, the duo opted for coordinated outfits in different colors, styled around a cowboy–cowgirl theme.

Sanchez wore a black top that showed off her cleavage, which she paired with matching black pants. She completed the look with a black cowboy hat and a stylish velvet coat adorned with fur.

Meanwhile, Bezos opted for a colorful jacket that appeared to be made from suede material and paired it with straight-cut denim jeans. He also had on a cowboy hat, although it was a different shade of color.

A day later, Sanchez was once again seen with Bezos on another outing in the city.

This time, she wore an all-black outfit that hugged her figure, held together with a gold buckle. She also donned dark high-heeled boots and carried a small burgundy bag.

Bezos likewise chose mostly dark colors for his look, consisting of a black shirt, dark blue jeans, and black shoes. He lightened the ensemble by adding a light brown coat with a fur collar.

Back in June, Bezos and Sanchez tied the knot in what many reports have called a $50 million wedding.

The ceremony took place in the romantic city of Venice and was attended by celebrities including Oprah Winfrey, Orlando Bloom, Tom Brady, Kim Kardashian, and Leonardo DiCaprio.

The entire celebration lasted three days and led to several of the city's high-profile hotels being fully booked to accommodate guests.

A portion of the city's transportation, including water taxis, was also rented out to carry guests.

Bezos and Sanchez's wedding celebrations were slightly blighted by protests in Venice from some individuals who were displeased with the couple's ostentatious display of wealth.

Shortly after tying the knot, Sanchez updated her name to include Bezos' surname.

The couple later proceeded on their honeymoon together, with some reports claiming they stayed at the San Domenico Palace, a Four Seasons hotel in Taormina, Sicily.
