Travis Kelce's teammate, Chris Jones, has made an emotional plea for the Kansas City Chiefs' star tight end not to retire, amid rumors that he would be stepping away after this football season.
Travis also addressed rumors about a potential retirement, admitting that he's still thinking about what to do as he has yet to find the "answers."
Off the field, Travis Kelce has established a strong media presence through his "New Heights" podcast and various entertainment projects, which he could easily rely on when his football career ends.
Travis Kelce's Teammate Urges Him Not To Retire

Chiefs defensive tackle Chris Jones got candid after being asked about his teammate, Travis Kelce, possibly retiring from the NFL.
Jones' remarks about Travis came while speaking to the media after the team's loss to the Denver Broncos on Christmas Day.
"I hope not, man," Jones said in response to a question about Travis' future with the Chiefs. "We have just been through so much together, and Travis has been a pivotal part of this offense for so long, and he's been like a brother … I hope this isn't the last year. I hope he gives it one more year. Just one more."
Travis himself has admitted that he has yet to make a decision about retirement, but noted that an answer will come after the football season.
Travis Kelce Remains Undecided On NFL Future After Tough Christmas Day Loss

Travis opened up about his uncertain future in the NFL during a pre-recorded sit-down with Amazon Prime Video ahead of the Chiefs' 20-13 Christmas Day defeat to the Broncos.
The 36-year-old acknowledged that this year has been a frustrating one for the team. For the first time since 2014, Travis' sophomore season, the Chiefs will miss the playoffs.
Their hopes of defending the AFC title ended earlier than expected, made worse by the loss of quarterback Patrick Mahomes, who suffered season-ending ACL and LCL injuries two weeks prior.
During the conversation with Chiefs legend Tony Gonzalez, Travis was asked outright whether the Broncos game might mark his final appearance at Arrowhead Stadium.
"I think I'm still searching for those answers," he admitted, per the New York Post. "Obviously, the way this one ended with a sour taste in my mouth. I feel motivated, but I've got to make the right decision for me. I gotta hope that if I do wanna come back, that the Chiefs are willing to bring me back. It's a two-way street on that."
Travis Kelce Reflects On His Future, Leans On Brother Jason As Passion For Football Remains Strong

As he weighs his options, Travis revealed that he frequently turns to his older brother, former Philadelphia Eagles center Jason Kelce, for perspective and guidance.
Despite the uncertainty, the three-time Super Bowl champion made it clear his passion for football hasn't faded.
When asked what would keep him playing, Travis pointed to the emotional pull of the game itself. "I know when it's over, it's over," he said. "I feel like I still have a lot of love for this game, I feel like if I came back it'd just be to answer that flame in my heart that I still love this thing."
In the loss to the Broncos, Travis led the team with five receptions for 36 yards. His fiancée, pop superstar Taylor Swift, was in attendance as quarterback Chris Oladokun made his first career NFL start.
Away from the field, the footballer has already been building a post-football career. He first ventured into entertainment in 2016 with his own reality dating show, then teamed up with Jason in 2022 to launch the "New Heights" podcast.
That same season ended with a historic milestone, as the brothers became the first siblings to compete against each other in a Super Bowl, followed by a joint appearance on "Saturday Night Live."
The NFL Star Embraces Life Beyond Football As 'New Heights' Holiday Episode Delights Fans

Travis has since expanded his résumé, working as a game show host, actor, and executive producer.
In a summer cover interview with GQ, he acknowledged that his attention may have been split, noting that his football focus "might have slipped a little" as he spent more time preparing for life beyond the NFL.
The lighter side of that next chapter was on full display during a recent holiday-themed episode of "New Heights," when Jason introduced the podcast's first-ever Secret Santa exchange.
The segment quickly became a fan favorite as each gift reveal sparked jokes and genuine reactions.
Jason opened custom golf balls featuring blue-toned images of himself and Travis, jokingly naming them "Blue Man Jason Kelce" and "Blue Man Travis Kelce," and laughed that he couldn't wait to smash them on the course.
Travis, meanwhile, was visibly thrilled by a set of NFL trading cards showcasing some of his all-time favorite players, especially after discovering the pack included a rare Borders rookie card.
Travis Kelce Spends Big On Luxury Gifts And Romantic Winter Getaway For Taylor Swift

Travis also went all out to make sure his fiancée, Taylor Swift, had an extra-special holiday season.
According to InStyle, a source revealed that the Chiefs star spent an estimated $142,000 on Christmas gifts for the popstar, blending luxury fashion, jewelry, and a memorable experience designed around her love for winter.
Among the highlights was a romantic ski getaway, described as an intimate mountain retreat where the couple could slow down and enjoy the season together.
The source said Travis planned the trip to include days on the slopes, evenings with hot chocolate, cozy accommodations, and quiet moments spent watching the snowfall.
The insider added that Swift is "obsessed with winter," making the snowy escape a particularly thoughtful choice.
To ensure she was fully equipped for the trip, Travis reportedly invested nearly $150,000 in what was described as a bold, high-fashion winter wardrobe. The collection allegedly featured designer outfits, handbags, and jewelry from several of Swift's favorite luxury brands.
