Raven Symoné Has Special Reunion With 'That's So Raven' Co-Stars During 40th Birthday Celebration

Raven-Symoné rang in her milestone 40th birthday with the perfect celebration. On December 12, the iconic actress sent the internet into a frenzy when she shared a carousel of snaps from her party, including a nostalgia-inducing photo with some of her "That's So Raven" co-stars. Symoné's heartwarming post comes at a poignant time, as the sitcom's spin-off, "Raven's Home," officially wrapped its sixth and final season in 2023.

In the collection of photos, Symoné showed off snaps of her with her partner, Miranda Maday, and others close to her who came to celebrate her major milestone. However, the picture that stole the show was one of Symoné with her "That's So Raven" co-stars: Rondell Sheridan, who played her father, and Kyle Massey, who played her brother.

Symoné was quite sentimental in her photo caption, thanking the many people who showed up to support her. "Seeing everyone's faces and reading everyone's text messages has truly touched my heart and soul," she wrote.

Symoné's special reunion with Sheridan and Massey sent fans down memory lane, as the trio was part of an epic ensemble cast that rocked the Disney Channel from 2003 to 2007. Sheridan even reprised his role in the final two seasons of the show's recent spin-off.

Although "That's So Raven" concluded nearly 20 years ago, it's left a lasting impression on Massey, 34. While appearing on Symoné's podcast, "Tea Time with Raven & Miranda," the actor reflected on what it was like working on the series.

"On 'Raven,' the atmosphere that we had on that show I would say is akin to some of the best sitcoms of all time," he stated. "And a lot of our writers came from those shows, and they would validate us like, this is that atmosphere that you spark magic in."

Massey noted that other Disney shows hoped to duplicate what they had as a cast, but couldn't get it right. He also stated that part of what made the series so good was the genuine connections among the characters.

"That friendship, those bickering moments. Just like Anneliese [Van Der Pol] coming into work one day and smashing into my car one day, in the parking lot — it just made us a family," he added.

The reunion was likely even more poignant for fans given the frightening health update Sheridan shared in May 2025.

The Blast previously reported that Sheridan was hospitalized with pancreatitis, the inflammation of the pancreas, while he was on the road. The actor shared that his condition would force him to be out of work for some time, ultimately leading to him creating a GoFundMe page.

"I'm setting up this GoFundMe to help with some of my medical bills and just expenses. If you have anything that you could donate, I'd gladly appreciate it. Thank you so much," he wrote.

Besides her unexpected "TSR" reunion, Symoné has also been in the headlines this year due to her scrutinized relationship with her wife.

According to an earlier report from The Blast, Maday had social media users in an uproar when she seemed to belittle Symoné during an earlier episode of their podcast.

During the conversation, the couple discussed signing a prenup, which Maday didn't have an issue with, as she said she's "richer" than the Hollywood star. She doubled down with, "I didn't marry Raven for money, I'm richer."
